Repeat for additional waffles: If making multiple waffles, repeat the process for each batch, ensuring the waffle maker is preheated correctly. We feel we’d be doing a disservice if we didn’t mention the Griddler’s big brother, the Griddler Elite. The Elite has the same features as the basic version we reviewed, but with a few extras that we found appealing. NOTE: During baking, you may notice steam rising from the fill spout. This is normal and is actually necessary to produce the waffle's crispy exterior and moist interior.

Serve and enjoy: Serve the freshly cooked waffles while warm, topped with your favorite toppings such as butter, syrup, fruits, or whipped cream. Enjoy the delightful waffle experience! Excess batter will rise into the fill spout creating an extra piece. This extra piece may be easily removed for serving. Audible Signal (not shown)– 5 beeps sound when waffle maker is ready to bake, and when waffle is fully cooked and ready to eat.Indicator Lights – Red indicator light signals power ON; green indicator light signals when waffle maker is ready to bake and when waffle is ready to eat. Preheat the waffle maker: Plug in the Cuisinart Waffle Maker and select the desired temperature setting. Allow it to preheat until the indicator light turns on or off, indicating it has reached the desired temperature. Adjust the temperature knob to the desired browning setting – select #1 for the lightest shade of waffle and #5 for the darkest shade. We recommend setting #3 for a golden brown waffle.

Dry thoroughly: After cleaning, ensure that all components of the waffle maker are dehydrated before reassembling or storing it. Moisture can lead to mold or damage to the unit. I always thought Magic Kingdom was supposed to be the happiest place on Earth – where everything smells like waffle cones and cotton candy – but when I first went to Diagon Alley, I knew that was where I belonged.” – Laurel Van Ness, Canadian Professional Wrestler When the waffle is ready, the green light will turn on and 5 beeps will sound. Open the waffle maker by pressing the stay-cool latch on the side of the unit, and use the latch to carefully lower the front plate. BE CAREFUL not to touch the hot plate. Wipe the exterior: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the waffle maker. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing brushes, as they can damage the surface.Setting #1 will produce the lightest color waffles. Setting #5 will produce the darkest color waffles. Experiment to determine which setting produces the best waffle color for you. We recommend setting #3 for golden brown waffles. Prepare the waffle batter: While the waffle maker [ 1] is preheating, prepare your waffle batter according to your favorite recipe. Ensure the batter is well-mixed and free of lumps. Close the waffle maker: Close the lid gently, allowing the waffle maker to press the batter evenly across the plates. Do not apply excessive force, as this can affect the texture of the waffle.
