Whilst the artbook has a great front cover I just don’t see anything exclusive enough in this box set to warrant such a steep price tag.Beautifully presented collection, with tons of behind-the-scenes extras on each film, and a very thoughtful thank you note from none other than Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill! Seriously if you’re a Star Wars fan and you don’t have this, you should stop what you’re doing a get it now!! This is the second installment of the prequels set in a time period prior to that of the original three star war films. Before we go into the reasons why we think this particular set is daylight robbery let me first give you an overview of what you are set to receive in the 4K Skywalker Saga Box set along with a good length documentary or two per disc. The 4K disc of The Last Jedi is newly authored—it no longer includes Dolby Vision HDR (per Disney’s new norm). All of the Blu-rays in the set are newly-authored discs—they are not the same as those released previously. The Last Jedi movie Blu-ray now includes the Score-only version of the film and its Bonus Blu-ray now includes the Meet the Porgs retail exclusive featurette. Most (but not quite all) of the previous Blu-ray special features are included in this set. Most of the previous DVD special features are not included—and of course, the original unaltered theatrical cuts of Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi are not included.
