I used to wash my hair every day because it was so greasy by 5pm after washing that morning. I realized that was only drying my hair out more, causing more grease, etc etc. So I started doing dry shampoo before bed (often even the night I washed it), which helps to absorb excess oil overnight and leave my hair fresher in the morning. For a while I had to accept that day 2 or 3 was always a pony tail/bun day, but I held strong and over time my hair was still decent to wear down on the 3rd or 4th day. Only recently (2 years later) am I able to get 5-6 days between washes, and doing dry shampoo maybe 2-3 nights of that. Coming to the dry hair ends, I did not get something frizzy and extremely dry hair after the wash. I won’t say my hair looked butter-liciously soft or something fancy, but yes there was no frizz, hair fall, or roughness on the ends.
