CONS: As is often the case with modelling amps, the initial impression plugging into the amp was not great. The tones sounded thin and did not respond to panel EQ controls as much as I had hoped. The Vox and Marshall models sounded crummy and muffled, and some of the effects settings were cranked to unusable levels that could not be changed until you hooked it up to a computer. It took some time and effort to figure out that a lot of the better tones were hidden behind software - many of the amps have multiple variations, and parametric and global EQ's in the software can make a huge difference. Amp simulation presets are usually never too great on amps, but in this case they are not bad and can be edited using an app on a mobile device or when connected by USB to a computer. 3 user presets should be enough for most players and for its intended use. Great sound for such small speakers and EQ controls work well. The chorus, flanger and phaser effects are limited in functionality to (probably) the most commonly used parameters but are usable in most cases.
