Having three gorgeous men guarding me 24-7 sounds like a dream come true, but it turns out to be a nightmare. They’re always here, watching me. Caring for me. Protecting me. They tell me to ignore them and go about my business, but I can’t even think with them so close. The spark is too intense. OMD- eh. Early in the book, the h is dating OM. Once she gets with the Hs, it’s only about them. Later in the book, an OM from the h’s last causes issues. The Hs take care of him 💅 The author did an amazing job of making these characters multifaceted, complex and very interesting. The emotional growth of each character feels genuine, and definitely had me laughing, crying, sympathizing and giving me all the feels. While the rude, elusive Dante isn’t her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.

In Faking With Benefits, we meet Layla, a woman who’s succeeding as an entrepreneur running her own lingerie business but who’s failing at dating. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to read her books but I’m so glad that I dived in because I’m going to devour EVERY SINGLE ONE. If you are new to reverse harems I really do believe that this book is a great place to start if you like contemporary romance. Soon I’ll be sharing a post on the reverse harems that I’ve read so far and my thoughts on them.

But despite her broken past, she’s never stopped seeing the beauty in the world…including the heart beneath the icy exterior of a man she shouldn’t want. The book is based in London and I do wish we had gotten a bit more description from the setting. However, not having that extra description didn’t take away from the story for me. I just personally like having more descriptive settings. Star Rating This ain't going anywhere. Okay? We'll do the segment, get you nice and irresistible to men, and then release you into the wild like a baby bird. We ain't gonna end up dating." Seriously. I'm twenty-eight and I've never had a boyfriend. And with my thirties rapidly approaching, I'm starting to lose patience. I wish she only ended up with josh. Genuinely liked him from start to end and wish he wasn't lumped in the other two rats.

One of these days, after I've read everyyyyythingggg that Lily Gold has written so far, I'll write a proper review for this one - because I can't declare this one her best RH until I've done my homework. This book is definitely better than 'Nanny for the(her?) Neighbours' in some ways, though that is scorching hot too. First off this book is a reverse harem which means there is one woman with more than two male love interests. In this case there is one woman and three men. If you are not interested in this type of romance I would recommend you skip this review and book. Trigger Warnings Regal, strong-willed, and bound by the chains of duty, Princess Bridget dreams of the freedom to live and love as she chooses. Theirs is a love that was never supposed to happen—but when it does, it unleashes secrets that could destroy them both…and everything they hold dear. This story is about a stalker who will do anything to get to the object of his fixation. Violence is depicted in various ways including torture, stabbing, bombings, assault, attempted sexual assault, and other actions. Objectification of the female body is also discussed in this story. If you have any triggers, please read this book with caution.Layla has a dating problem. She’s been on 120 first dates and can’t seem to get a guy to ask her out on a second date and she hasn’t had a boyfriend since high school. So after another bad date and some liquid courage she asked her friends to help her with her dating skills. The four of them agree to turn it into a segment on the podcast in exchange for her to get advertising spots for her lingerie line. They will be her fake boyfriends and teach her all aspects of dating. It was boring. The book was pretty boring in my opinion, but it did manage to capture my attention for a good 35% of it and make me annoyed enough to write this.

Josh: Regular, responsible guy. Came off as a bit cold at first. Tsundere vibes. My favorite of the 3.If you want a sweet contemporary romance reverse harem with a strong female main character and three flawed male characters this is it for you. If you are a fan of contemporary romance and reverse harems, absolutely read this book. stars equals a great book. I might buy an ebook version when it’s on sale so that I can re-read it at least one more time.

If part of his storyline was actually him trying (keyword: trying) to get over the past then I probably would have been able to silently deal with it, but I kid you not, 80% into the book, he's still obsessed with his dead ex- like he lost a ring that was his ex's and went ballistic and now this, I understand. You lose something of importance of someone you loved (oh shit my bad, I mean LOVE) and it's the only thing you have left. But what I couldn't get past was the fact that he was so torn up about this after ditching Layla but all of a sudden, he doesn't need it anymore? Because he finally realized that he loves Layla? Here's a better part of his obsession. He was so obsessed that he in fact decided to break up with Layla but wait- no he couldn't simply do that. INSTEAD he decided to give it one last hoorah and break up with her while pulling out just after she confesses her feelings for him. The man just doesn't think. He has no brain. I really enjoyed reading this. I’m a bit sad it’s over and I’ve read all her other books she’s got out. Now I have to wait for a new release. What the hell am I gonna read in the meantime? 😒 The whole reason he doesn't tell her about his feelings is because 1) he wasn't ready and he's allowed that discretion and 2) she wasn't ready to hear it. And those are the golden words when it comes to bullying, aren't they? I don't want to say this book is heavy, because it is relatively light, but I was surprised with how many important topics it covered: cyber bullying, cancel culture, slut shaming, the rigged schools who turn a blind eye at clearly tormented kids, the way everything still affected the adult heroine in tiny little ways. it bothered me that they did this RH thing before 😬. Ugh. I wish the situation with Layla has been a unique one. I’m assuming this was to show that they could do this since they did it before 🤷🏻‍♀️. I needed better closure in this situation too… or more clarity.Driven by a tragedy that has haunted him for most of his life, his ruthless pursuits for success and vengeance leave little room for matters of the heart. I love the friendship to lovers story. The dynamic within this group of characters is fantastic. We get hilarious scenes, touching scenes, lots of sexy scenes, and even a few arguments. All of the characters are flawed and go through some sort of growth in this book. I like that and it works really well. This isn't badly put together. In case you were wondering if this was one of those badly edited, poorly written junk erotica you find on Kindle Unlimited (which I don't have, by the way) - it isn't. The book is edited. It makes sense. I didn't find spelling errors nor grammar errors. It's a full book, with build-up, a plot (not necessarily a good one, but still), characters, and a lot more to it than just sex scenes.
