A lot of people give the incense a hit or miss I personally think it was blended beautifully and just meshes in wonderfully. the opening and drydown is awesome, am not usually a fan of sea notes but they use it so so well, less salty and more sweetenss! Whereas Special Blend has a smooth sparkling freshness in the open while still maintaining the overall feel of profumo. It opens with a bright splash of bergamot, but that dries down into a rosemary sage herbal heart, and a patchouli base. Off the top I get the bergamot and sea notes, but right underneath is a strong, heavy smokiness from the incense.

In terms of versatility, I will award it full points as it can work in all formal, casual, warm and cooler occasions. Seeing how everyone’s nose is different I won’t argue with people who say this smells just like Profumo.

it's More Refined version Of ADG Profumo As The Name Says Special Blend it's Really A Special Blend Though A Bit Darker Ad Some Patchouli And Earthiness Mouth Watering Scent Profile. It has that same original Acqua di Gio dna, but with the added incense it gives it more character and creates a louder fragrance. Anybody who says it's boring is probably routinely committing chemical warfare with their niche frags in situations where they shouldn't be wearing them.

Overall, this was much better blended and the proportions better judged than those legendary Miyakes. this is the question that I'm preparing for the next summer, because I want to put on on of these again. don't get me wrong, there are better scents out there, but this definitely works for me and if it ain't broke don't fix it. Do yourself a favor and test this fragrance out; this hyped fragrance will either be a god-send or a mistake depending on the person.
