There's also a very helpful short summary at the end of each chapter and some simple comprehension questions. I liked the layout where key vocabulary was defined for you in each chapter and mini quizzes let me know how well I did (or didn't) understand the story. Would definitely recommend to read it once you are around a1 or above in Spanish, it's got useful advice from Olly Richards at the beginning for learning a language through stories and it has helped me more than any other method has.
