Makes sense as despite being PS2 games they are enhanced, have revamped visuals and are meaty games. I plan myself on getting the PS5 version at launch for that nice 4K 60FPS but i also plan on getting the Switch version as a nice present. The Trilogy will include GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas, and will feature improved graphics and modern gameplay enhancements while keeping the "classic look and feel" of the original games. People have been asking what games the Switch 2 could launch with, as it clearly can’t be a new mainline Zelda. A new 3D Mario or Donkey Kong does seem the obvious guess, or I quite like the suggestion that it could be Mario Kart 9. But the most you’re likely to get is one big name Nintendo exclusive and then maybe one or two minor ones, like 1-2-Switch. Very good review, I was thinking of getting this game but I will wait a little longer. This game still getting more updates?

If it was the people that ported Witcher 3 to Switch then I would be optimistic on the 32 card being used. Like it was mentioned before, LA Noire on Switch was disgustingly handled and I don’t see this being much better.

Is It Worth Getting The GTA Trilogy On Switch Now?

Nintendo Life’s resident horror fanatic, when he’s not knee-deep in Resident Evil and Silent Hill lore, Ollie likes to dive into a good horror book while nursing a lovely cup of tea. He also enjoys long walks and listens to everything from Motorhead to BB King. This will be an instant buy for me. I've been thinking about getting GTA V as my first game in the franchise, but this...this looks just as good as V. So I'll probably get this instead. I'm curious about the updated graphics. It'd be nice to see something that, at least, approaches GTA IV but I know that won't happen. Runs OK now, played some recently and enjoyed it. That said I got it cheap in an Eshop sale, wouldn’t have wanted to pay much more than I did. WoomyNNYes It’s only six in the morning where I live and your comment on reverse psychology is already making me laugh aloud, more than enough to wake up without coffee.

And that's really the long and short of it. Yes, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is better than it was. Of course it is. It launched in an absolute shambles. The only people who should be remastering games are the teams that originally developed the games. More often than not, remastering projects given to outside no-name development studios produce poor results. This is great news as Vice City is one of the very best videogames of all time. Our PS2s are now officially obsolete! (I'm bearing in mind that the Devil May Cry trilogy is on the Switch too and Dragon Quest VIII is on the 3DS.) Devil May Cry 3, despite being one of the most acclaimed games in the series, didn't sell as strongly due to how panned Devil May Cry 2 was.Severian Thanks. After Kingdom Hearts for the Switch was revealed to be cloud only, it's weird, I'm little cynical.😁😁 That’s too bad. RDR1 is one of my favorite gaming memories. The part where you cross over into Mexico for the first time and that Jose Gonzales song plays while you ride your horse blew my mind the first time I played it. I was fully submersed in that game. I hooked up the old 360 a couple years ago and gave it another exteremly enjoyable play through. Wouldn’t think twice about forking over full price to have it on the switch, even just as a straight port. of the most amazing games in existence (GTA3, GTA VC) got that port. Everything would be fine if they cared about the music and brought every single song from the original versions. No personal interest, but this is a decent snag for Nintendo systems. I would like to see IV and V since they can all run on Switch but merely for the sales draw that will be for Nintendo. More popular games means more sells, more sells means more profit (for Nintendo and shareholders) and more profit means more investment into development and hardware. Win win. Then we get the announcement of those remasters which was not a massive head turner because these were the games I bought the PS2 for so wasn't that interested. But that made me hope that I may get an opportunity to play some of their games again in the future.
