This beer is exceptionally good, the pale ale is as good as an alcoholic version, refreshing and full of flavour. They are also a B-Corp certified company, reflecting their commitment to high social and environmental standards, and have partnered with the Wave Project in 2022, supporting mental health initiatives through surf mentorship programmes.

It is light, with good flavour, and none of the unpleasant aftertaste that some low alcohol beers have. Having said that, as an alcohol-free drink it is nice but sweeter than many people may first expect.It allows us to protect all of the flavour and integrity of our premium ingredients without needing to use harsh de-alcoholisation treatments which are more common in the industry. The body is good – low to medium – with a thickish texture that is heavier than a typical pale lager. Bitterness up front when we taste, with lots of those roasted grains giving an almost smoky flavour free-beer.
