It has an unashamedly "fun" tuning, not unlike the KS1 itself, but the KS1 is not as V-shaped and has better timbre with a more even sound profile and is preferable. In my opinion they lack a bit of "Punch", but they offer good warmth and a good presence on the deeper frequencies.
