The Zetian Wu are technically inferior, with fuzzier imaging, less micro-details, way-blunted edge definition, and worse instrument separation and micro-details. The Zetian Wu have a more marked mid-bass bleed with a less textured and slower bass.

Timeless is probably the most perfect people pleaser IEM under 300 USD. Its comfy, has authoritative midbass heavy bass response, a well executed midrange without the wonkiness that many planars tend to have and a flawed but decent treble response. Very strong wow factor. The Timeless AE shows an audible boost on both end especially in the lows and upper treble region. The subbass region of the Timeless AE has more depth and rumble that was immediately audible when I have listen to songs like Lorde’s “Royals” and Rok Nardin’s “Berserks” that will satisfy does who do prefer some additional rumble and extension in this area. The midbass region is a slightly fuller and more impactful when I do listen to the Timeless AE, while it still quite clean and detailed in this area. Alright alright, I did plug these into my computer to get a better idea of it at high volume which is where the treble impression comes from. This being a magnetic planar I am quite aware of the need to pair it with beefy sources, and I have opted to use the following gear selected from my arsenal of DAC/Amps But personal preferences aside, the Timeless are an excellent set of IEMs for their price and I would be more than happy to have them in my collection, probably getting more use than the majority of other IEMs I have.In terms of quality, bass texturing is pillowy and sometimes can sound undefined, but bass speed is lightning fast and can cope with complex bass movements. There’s just a hint of mid-bass bleed, but thankfully the bass does not encroach much into the midrange. Midrange My one gripe with the bass is that the leading edge of bass notes is somewhat rounded and a little soft. Listening to The Gentle Storm’s “Endless Sea – Gentle Version” the drums sound woolly and unstructured while the vocals, piano and harpsichord sound clear and vibrant.

Definitely Timeless are worth the price, they are engaging and fun sounding IEMs with sub par technical performance and tonal attributes which makes it sound more natural and warm. 7hz's take on a planar is really unique and they have found so much excellence with this IEM. Where it's sublime nature of producing sounds so resolving with extended length With the rather odd spaceship construction, many were made wary of fearing that this Timeless would look out of place or quite possibly having fitment issues. I am just glad those were unfounded. It is not as big as how the picture suggests. The dominant circular outer shell has been designed not to intercede with proper anchoring of the inner shell to fit the ear concha properly. It is as comfortable as it can be, and I have worn my Timeless for up to 6 hours on several occasions. The cable, aside from being beautifully made in white, offered great flexibility with very useful chin slider to eliminate microphonicsneither playlist is complete but that's alright ill be adding more as time goes on and my other testing list will be linked here Somewhat odd design that I wouldn’t really like wearing in public because of the big disk that protrudes out of the ear However, timbral accuracy is more natural on the Zetian Wu, and the Zetian Wu have a lighter shell and are more comfortable. Where to Buy Dunu’s Falcon Pro are single-dynamic driver IEMs that are priced near the 7Hz Timeless. Dunu makes use of the ECLIPSE driver system to get better driver excursion and control. has truly hit it out of the park with Timeless. I always had an idea that planar magnetic drivers cannot move as much air as dynamic drivers and hence will never have that DD slam and physicality. Timeless proved me wrong. The impressively deep and full-bodied bass performance coupled with the highly transparent and bright mids and treble presented in a very open and spacious manner is bound to sweep the listener off his/her feet at the first listen - it surely did me.

The sub-bass is in all ways satisfying and well contained. It's a light experience, not dark and dirty. This lower treble issue is exacerbated by some emphasis near 8KHz that makes the leading edge of cymbal hits too prominent.

The 7Hz Timeless AE is a brand new special edition of the Original Timeless and has been designed in collaboration with “AngelEars”. The Timeless AE comes with the same 14.2mm diameter Planar Magnetic Driver that has been used inside the OG Timeless, while it is tuned to produce a 3dB boost in the lows along with some improvements in terms of Treble and Midrange response. The Timeless AE follows the same monitor design of the OG Timeless that is made from 5-Axis CNC machined aluminum material, while it has a different color, which is now in Blue. You might be surprised to know that the Timeless is easy to drive: even a smartphone will do a pretty good job with it. But this IEM responds well to some extra power and a better source, so don’t be afraid to feed it with a good DAC or amp and bump up the volume a bit. They provide a natural, pleasant sound that is engaging and enjoyable despite having subpar technical performance and tone qualities. Planar IEMs are a rare breed and the Timeless are one of the few IEMs that utilizes a full-range planar driver. The 14.2mm double-sided magnet driver coupled with the ultra-thin diaphragm is similar to full-size planar headphones. However, the Timeless are surprisingly light even though they use dual magnetic arrays. The driver assembly of the 7Hz Timeless. (From: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003122202176.html)The Timeless's treble have forward treble presentation. It has shrill sound with more ss's and tt's pronounced in the mix. although being very well extended in the treble still feels soft. I find the air in the blessing 2 a little bit dry than the timeless. Also Moondrop blessing 2 have less presence in the treble than the timeless. Every element in the treble region works very well and provide better tonal performance and technicality when it comes to Moondrop blessing 2. To be honest I find the blessing 2 much better tuned. Timeless is overall better in every aspect than the female vocals while comparing to the Yume midnight. The female vocals have more natural reach when it comes to blessing 2. When it comes to a little more happening in the treble, the vocals are drowned in treble with timeless whereas blessing 2 performs eloquently and precisely which results in more details and resolution. Obviously they both are tuned very differently. Although the tonal integrity of Moondrop blessing 2 in sound is not lost overall except the dryness felt in the treble air above 8-10k region and I find the characteristics to keep it all along the spectrum wonderfully, where the timeless being v shaped in sound. The Timeless do sound detailed and fine sounding disregarding that much bass. I agree on Timeless not being clean or analytical but it doesn't want to be. The 7Hz Timeless are quite comfortable and have a snug fit. I can listen to them for hours without any discomfort or pressure buildup. Isolation, unfortunately, is below average. Internals However, the Timeless AE offers a better performance when you use it with more powerful sources like DAP’s (FiiO M11 Plus ESS, iBasso DX170) or DAC/Amplifier (iFi Audio xDSD Gryphon). The 7HZ Timeless AE has a slightly forward oriented midrange tuning and shows a slightly warmer than neutral tonality and a fairly natural timbre. The sense of airiness and transparency is above average, when I do listen to instruments and vocals.
