If you have read my Game Nights with Friends and Family blog feature you will be fully away that I love to play board games. In our house we love to play a variety of games and have regular game nights. My favourite types of games are logic and deduction games. The kids like them too, but some of them are not always family friendly, unlike the fun, creepy and spooky Ghosted, that has been haunting my shelves for a while. Ghosted, from Big G Creative, is family game of deduction with a twist – rather than a game of WHO-dunnit, it is more of a game of BOO-dunnit! More comedy than horror, and lots of fun for the entire family. In the near future, new, innovative, and more advanced technology has emerged. On social networks, rumors are circulating about strange phenomena caused by beings known as "Hologram Ghosts". We have loved playing Ghosted as a family, and really enjoyed the humour and simple game play. Lots of fun having to use logic and deduction skills to become the top ghost detective and win the game. Ghosted is a familiar premise with a twist. It’s similar to Clue in that you’re trying to solve a murder. But instead of everyone competing to be the first to solve the same crime, each player is racing against the others to solve a different killing – their own. Once you’ve determined who goes first, the starting player rolls the action die to learn what kind of turn they’ll have. Unlike in Clue, where each turn is the same, Ghosted has five different kinds of turns to help players get to the bottom of their death.
