Description

This is also a nod to set 7665 Republic Cruiser from 2007 which is the only time the ship has made an appearance in the LEGO universe, and I’d love to see an updated model some day. Give Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans a brilliant surprise every day in the run-up to Christmas with the 2021 LEGO® Star Wars™ Advent Calendar (75307). Behind each of the 24 doors is a LEGO minifigure, LEGO figure, buildable vehicle, weapon or accessory, all inspired by Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2. The Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2018 is suitable for ages 6+ 5. Lego Friends Advent Calendar [2019] [41382]

We’ve hit double digits on the 2020 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar! Day 10 gives us yet another festive character – D-O, the cute little droid introduced in Episode 9! Lego has revealed three new advent calendars for Christmas 2020 and they include popular franchises Harry Potter and Star Wars. Yet again, I’ve really enjoyed the microscale locations, with Lars Homestead being my favourite for how well they’ve nailed such an iconic structure. Oh and I couldn’t resist – if you’re feeling morbid, you can of course torch the Lars homestead to recreate this scene from A New Hope. On Day 20 of the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, we get yet another Hoth staple – a micro Shield Generator! If you’ve watched the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, you’ll recognise Poe immediately, as he’s in a festive mood organising Life Day.

This is my first Sith Trooper as I’ve been staying away from the Rise of Skywalker sets, so I’m pretty happy about adding him to my collection.I’m very pleased with Day 13’s Republic Cruiser – a relatively obscure but beloved original ship design from the Prequel era which should delight old school LEGO Star Wars fans, especially if you have 7665 in your collection. That’s Day 6 so far – not a massive fan of the Sith TIE Fighter’s design, but it’s notable for being the first “bad guy” ship included in the 2020 Star Wars Advent Calendar, which some will welcome to set up some light-speed chase scenes! Between door-opening ceremonies and playtime adventures, this LEGO® Star Wars™ Advent Calendar makes a colourful, festive display piece in any room.

We last saw an A-Wing Starfighter in the 2015 Advent Calendar, and the entire look is a massive upgrade.

Exclusive Pieces

I think the designers have done a great job getting the shape, fins and sleek profile of the A-Wing just right, and I really liked the laser cannons on the side. The tan-coloured igloo-shaped structure is executed really well, with the domed structure, and arched entryways atop a dark tan sandy base that represents Tattooine’s sandy terrain. Take note of the piece count for each Lego advent calendar in the table above, this is the total amount of lego pieces in each calendar. They are whole Lego sets that include a great number of different lego pieces that allow a wide range of creations possible. Making them the perfect advent calendar for kids. What ages are Lego Advent Calendars suitable for? Despite the small piece count this set has a large number of exclusive pieces making it a nice addition to your pieces collection. I’ll never tire of expanding my Porg collection, so I’m pretty pleased with getting yet another one today.
