There is a creation-of-the-world element, but it's not our world so it seems more fantastic than religious. Born the eldest son and heir of King Lune of Archenland, and elder twin of Prince Corin, Cor was kidnapped as an infant and raised as a fisherman's son in Calormen. However, the problem is that many of the positive qualities of the female characters seem to be those by which they can rise above their femininity .
