With the inclusion of a crashed vehicle scenario in STAR WARS: Legion Spec Ops, our team decided to take on the challenge of crashing vehicles from our armies so that we could use them as terrain for content and home games. It would be really neat to someday field a 9-10 activation squad where every unit had a unique clone in it, something to hope for/look forward to!

I had a lot of fun with Anakin for most of a year an did pretty well with him (made cut at Adepticon, Grand Finals in Invader League) but I’m honestly a bit tired of the type of painstaking play (and dependence on good terrain) that’s required to do well with a GAR Jedi list and I’d love to mess around with a clone-only gunline or (non-Anakin/Yoda based) vehicle list that allows me to compete with a level of choice that the other factions have. We were also told that AMG was going to present at San Diego Comic Con and while I had hope I didn’t really think we’d get a confirmation and I certainly didn’t expect a card.

Each one has been designed really well to create cool looks to make them stand out on the battlefield and now you can create the ultimate force made of the 212th led by both Cody and Obi Wan. Scouting ahead as soon as they hit the ground, they are considerablly more mobilite than other troops, allowing them to take up advanced positions and get the drop on enemy forces. After all, everything established in 1977 about the Empire, Vader, Luke, and Obi-Wan had to be set up in the final Prequel film. Beyond their innate abilities, these commanders can continue to improve their armies with the addition of gear and commands. Add even more variety to your armies when the Republic Specialists Personnel Expansion arrives on February 19!When you fire Cody’s Rifle with no fire support you will be looking to use the two red to clear cover and the black and white to actually do damage. We certainly do hope it helps the game grow, but I can report that there was no additional discussion on anything related to Cody such as his command cards or the releases going out alongside him. LEGO have done a remarkable job adapting the Phase 2 helmet into the design, nailing the overall silhouette and shape of the helmet, which is no mean feat for a helmet with plenty of curves. Command slot: Aggressive Tactics when he’s the only named Commander, lots of other choices when he isn’t. For Cody, white is accented by his 212th Attack Battalion orange that covers his visor, antenna and the helmet’s fin.
