Between the premise of friends who turned away from each other, enemies to lovers, and high school angst, this is right up my alley. Becca was always going on about how other people were stuck up and thought they were too cool for her, but she was a complete jerk to everyone. It was so good to read a YA romance where the girl was beautiful and smart, but not pure and virginal. Donna has an uncanny way of refining her story without losing any of the beauty or magic of the original. She doesn’t care that their mutual friend, Jake, keeps pushing them all to hang out together, and she especially doesn’t care that the rest of the school bows down and worships him.

I enjoyed the perspective that it gives and helps to fill in any remaining blanks that you had about his character or motives. She has good friends and a gorgeous boyfriend, but Ryan Jackson, the bane of her existence, keeps popping up everywhere. This all-female cast would be a great addition to a theatre's season looking for a play that is funny, smart, and incredibly moving. Secondly, Becca spent about 80% of the book completely infatuated with her boyfriend to the point where she was prepared to overlook his many shortcomings. Becca had the same issue over and over again and no matter what happened, she wouldn't let go of it. She was constantly making assumptions and jumping to conclusions about them despite not really knowing them that well. Ryan was one of the best book boyfriends I've ever read and this had the potential to be perfect but having the heroine obsessed with someone not the hero for 80% of the book is just infuriating as fuck.

People do at times act like this towards each other and have these feelings, where as in Bully, as entertaining as it was, it wasn't always realistic. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. She goes somewhere, runs into Ryan and acts like a snot, then runs off and stews about their interaction. I love enemies to lovers stories and this one was real and gritty and best of all, it had flawed characters.

But I was glad in the end that Rebecca got over Charlie when they broke up because for one I knew he was cheating on her. I even went so far to imagine what a movie with this plot might look like… and at that moment I understood something.I loved everything about it, except for how clueless the heroine was at times but that be overlooked. Becca decided years ago that he wasn't worth her time and nothing, nothing, is going to change her mind. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. Easy, quick read that was kind of addicting, but I did not like this one as much as the other book I have read by this author.

Sam ist mega schlau und hatte mal mental health struggles aber wird auch nur so in 1-2 Seiten kurz erwähnt und dann nie wieder. The reader knows this but we are tortured into reading about Becca going around with little hearts in her eyes for 80% of this book and Ryan watching from afar, pining after her. If you like an ex-friends turned enemies turned something more story, you will not be able to put Four Doors Down, down. Both books are about a completely oblivious girl who doesn't realize the hot, popular guy is SUPER into her. Every other chapter she would mention the fact that he had been with a lot of girls and then roll her eyes and act like she couldn't care less.I read pretty much every day I squeeze it in between doing homework, cleaning and sorting the things at home. Gosh – help me – Becca McKenzie must have been the most annoying and dense heroine that I read in a novel that I ever read so far.
