It is fair to say that it is the highlight of this iem, the performance of it is impressive, as there is not only quantity, there is quantity, it is very well defined, very punchy and fast, there is no annoying reverb, and this itself gets better and better as it scales in the audio source. Treble extension is better on the Quartet – notes sound airier yet more precise. The overall coherency is better on the Quartet and as a result, its vocals and instruments sound more accurate compared to Rinko. Tip Selection - Its tip selection is Limited and only has 3 sets of tips included with it. I look at 20 dollar sets and find they have 6 or 7 sets with them, and I just feel this isn’t enough for a 100-dollar iem. I had to use tips from other iems, to get a good fit for myself. Not sure if this is a zeos or Seeaudio decision, but it's a very poor decision and will ruin this delightful iem for others. I am fancy, I tip rolled, but that saved this iem for me.

The Yume have a more forward midrange compared to the KXXS, which are a step behind. This makes the Yume create better vocal clarity and resolution. The KXXS still have a decent amount of detail, just that they aren’t as potent as the Yume. Even so, the mid-treble still shows a good amount of sparkle, and this allows instruments such as piccolos and crash cymbals to be “correct”. The treble extension is quite good and is on par with the best performers in this price range. The SeeAudio Yume extend way up to the upper treble, and remain smooth and silky sounding. Technicalities and sensitivityIt seems that the overall perceived sound/speaker stage dimension is more average. It has an average width, above average height ceiling and sufficient immersive depth to give me a fairly middling head room within my aural sense. The vocals have presence and body, although I feel that they are a little behind due to the amount of bass, the female vocals might not be heard clear and rich enough as they should, although to tell the truth this does not ruin the experience, despite not showing the most aerated sound or the most microdetails, I think that in general they have enough body and presence to not be overshadowed by the sub and mid bass. Imaging and accuracy is surprisingly spot on, I am able to tell where the instruments and vocals very well. As a result, compared to the piezoelectric, the sound image localization is significantly more recognizable as Planar, with a unique sound pressure and resolution.To break it down more closely, the sub-bass extension is good, but not class-leading. The quantity of the sub-bass is always tightly controlled. Not what I would expect from a dynamic driver, but because of this, the bass always remains clean. The mid-bass has a bit more body and warmth, but the Yume are still nowhere near being “bass cannons”.
