Opening smells okayish, somewhere around the Aventus vein, but it is all lost within an hour, drying down into a weird synthetic powdery leather type of smell. I think combining this with the elemi note creates an almost pineapple kind of smell, which is very beautiful. You could say it's in the same fragrance ballpark, but it does not smell the same as Aventus or Explorer.

Calmel Joseph Corbieres l'Aventure is a wonderful herby Corbieres from the wild garrigue that surrounds the vineyard. Besides that, this fragrance opens with more lemon than bergamot and smells like a smoother version of CDNIM, closer to the vain of pineapple.
