Prayer can be a useful part of your spirituality in Satanism. Prayer can allow you to connect with the force of Satan, and to be guided by his power. The act of prayer can bring you comfort in times of need. Prayer can also focus your mind and bring you clarity. Prayer can give you a reason to stay true to your path and yourself. And prayer can also help you to feel closer to Satan.

Satanic Prayer as a Spiritual Tool

When a bell is rung during a ritual, it increases the vibration and energy in the premises. The ringing of the bell can be used to dispel evil and welcome the spirit. The sound of the bell would disengage your mind from ongoing thoughts, thus making the mind more receptive. There are no set rules in Spiritual Satanism that state that prayer to Satan is required. But if you do chose to pray you have an opportunity to bond with Satan in a personal way. When a prayer is said to Satan, it is not just said with words; it is felt with the heart as well. Prayer is a form of communication with the spiritually divine. Prayer can be used to strengthen your bond with Satan. It can be used to give you personal strength or when you are seeking reassurance or comfort. It can also be used to give you clarity in a situation or to receive guidance. Prayer can be done outside of the ritual chamber at any time you feel it is necessary. If you dive right in, and tell yourself, “well I’m a Satanist now” simply because you decided to call yourself one. But, if you haven’t taken the steps to mentally leave your former religion behind and adopt new ways, then you may not be ready to make a pact. Everything in this path comes in due time and you will feel when the time is right to make that commitment and become a Satanist. Prayers are channels of communication between you and Satan.
