It’s a mix of the IntelliFlex™bristles and boar bristles, which add in the shine to the equation. I use this on dry hair as my daily use brush as well as brushing hair into ponytails and buns and whatnot. The bristles help naturally distribute the oils from our scalp down to the ends of our hair where the oils are needed. No other types of bristles do this(not well anyway, or without damage). We have all had that day that our hair (or our children’s hair) is snarled so bad that we can’t even begin to brush through it without taking ibuprofen first. Thankfully, the Wet Brush company has come to the rescue. So here is my Wet Brush Review.

It’s the only brush I will use to brush out my hair after washing; It glides through knots better than anything I’ve ever tried. It is also the only brush I use on my toddler’s fine, baby hair. As someone with fine, very long and very delicate hair, I am always tentative to try something new. For years I relied on a standard old hard nylon-bristled paddle brush; It’s what I was always suggested for long straight hair. The Wet Brush started with their original detangling brush and has expanded to several different types to meet all hair needs. I have 4 of them, and use and love them all for various reasons! That might seem excessive, but once you start treating your hair and scalp as individual concerns arise, it’s a hair game changer! Now, thanks to having a massive selection of wet brushes at my disposal, she lets me do whatever I want(because it’s now painless to brush her hair). This brush made me realize that brushing out tangles and freshly washed hair didn’t have to be traumatizing; I don’t have to suffer through seeing loads of hair ripped and broken off in my brush or comb. This brush though – well let’s just say it is a revelation to my shower game! I can brush root to ends with this bad boy like it’s gliding through butter. My favorite brush of all time, #gamechanger. Words cannot express the feels I have for this hairbrush. We all hate having greasy hair, and I will explain why this will help. Hi- I know this an older article but I found it very helpful. Both my daughter and I have shorter fine hair, hers is a little longer than mine-shoulder length. Question- I know you love the original wet brush but have you since tried the pro version? Is there any reason to get that one vs the original? I have saved myself hours by cutting down brushing time for my hair, my client’s hair, and even the kiddos hair.

It’s not my favourite Wet Brush, because the bristles don’t seem to have the same flexibility that the others have. I find it can tug a bit, and the open cutouts on the side sometimes can catch my fine hair. Firstly, I rarely get dry flakey scalp anymore. Secondly, I don’t get knotty tangled hair. Third, I don’t “shed” or lose nearly as much hair as I used to! Yes, Wet Brushes do work on wet hair! The Intelliflex and Softips(™) combine to make a fantastic hairbrush that alleviates strain and stress on fragile hair. The Wet Brush helps prevent tugging, pulling, ripping, and damage that can cause split ends, breakage, and hair loss. VARIATIONS OF WET BRUSH: The brand has branched out incredibly over the years. I have 4 variations and love them all for separate reasons. As a bonus, I use my Wet Brush Detangle on my Yorkie, and it works wonders(if you have ever tried brushing out a dogs hair that is matted you too understand).

There are a few things that make Wet Brush special. First, the bristles are designed to be extra-soft and gentle on hair, which helps minimize breakage and split ends. Second, the brush has a unique “ open” design that allows water to flow through the bristles more easily, helping to remove tangles with less effort. Finally, the ergonomic handle is designed to fit comfortably in your hand, making it easier to brush through wet or dry hair.

Yes, you can use a Wet Brush on curly hair. The wide-set bristles work well at gently detangling curly hair without snags or creating unwanted damage. It would tear through my wet hair, and I’d douse my hair in detangler just to get the job done. I genuinely just thought that was normal… up until a few years ago when I discovered Wet Brush. THE WET BRUSH SHOWER: This one was new to me and I LOVE that it has a hook on the end to hang in my Simple Human Shower Caddy.Hi- I know this an older article but I found it vey helpful. Both my daughter and I have shorter fine hair, hers is a little longer than mine-shoulder length. Questions- I know you love the original wet brush but have you since tried to pro version? Is there any reason to get that one vs the original?

The Wet Brush Pro Shine is a detangling brush that has their patented Intelliflex bristles along with boar bristles(you can not beat a boar bristle brush if you ask me). The past few occasions I’ve taken this brush with me for them to use and even they’ve been impressed.I have to say; the Wet Brush brand has been a lifesaver for me in my everyday life as well as my professional life.
