It's not going to take much movement around it (be it air or vibrations) to result in blur, especially when doing night shots. From previous experience I know that 2 seconds delay is not even nearly long enough time for the camera+tripod combo to stop vibrating. I recommend this tripod to all on a budget, the only downside is there's no instruction manual needed for begginers who've never owned a tripod before and dont know what knob is for what, but its quite simple to operate.

If you encounter resistance, try to find the screw that unlocks the resistance, rather than forcing things.
