I purchased your Scotland NC500 for Christmas 2022 and ventured off from Southern England’s South Coast in June 2023 in my new to me VW Transporter, Chelsie. I live in Scotland and appreciate what a wee bit of earthly treasure we have to appreciate and protect for future generations .Wow this was a fabulous Christmas pressie – have been engrossed in it planning using all your information to inspire us! The book is of great quality and you can tell a lot of love and hard work from Gemma and Campbell has gone into writing this book. The NC500 is a 516 mile circular road trip around the north of Scotland offering Caribbean-like beaches, raw and rugged mountains, and generally stunning scenery unique to this ancient part of the world. The quality of their photographs accompanying the script is absolutely incredible too and it just makes the reader yearn to break out and drive there and see it all in the flesh. The only one that comes close is the book Photographing Scotland but that’s not specific to the NC500.

Only so far into NC500, have just had a major op so have plenty of time on my hands to read it, and then can start to plan our trip to finish of our Scotland trips next year, well done a great read and lovely pictures, will definitely be finding some of those places. For me the best feature is the lists such as best distilleries, best waterfalls and beaches, where to stay.I really recommend you follow Gemma and Campbell’s social pages too – their YouTube content is amazing. It was lovely to receive our copy of Destination NC 500, I love the extra effort for the tiny details of having the book wrapped. It is the perfect size, the photographs are excellent quality and I am spending my weekend planning my route. We would have been very happy the have had your book with us because then we would have been able to see even more and more fantastic spots of this wonderful part of UK/Scotland.
