Dark Reign: Daredevil does not participate in this event outside of his own title and one-shot. See Marvel Universe Events: Dark Reign. Daredevil vs. Punisher: Means and Ends #1–6 (Sept. 2005 – Jan. 2006; no cover dates; #1-2 both indicia-dated Sept. 2005) by David Lapham

Collects Daredevil (2019) #31-36, Daredevil: Woman Without Fear (2020) #1-3, and Elektra (2022) #100. Epic editions are also listed below in their chronological placement, as they are frequently the only coverage of a specific run. Collects a number of crucial Elektra stories, including Bizarre Adventures (1981) #28, Daredevil (1964) #168 & 181, Elektra (1996) #-1, and Elektra: The Movie (2005) #1Mark Waid's award winning tenure as Daredevil's lead writer was the first run of the character I closely followed. Due to fond memories of the run that turned me into a Daredevil fan, I wanted to read part 1 of Waid's entire Daredevil work and see how it holds up after a decade since I read most of it and moved on to Frank Miller's and Brian Michael Bendis' much darker depictions of the character. Daredevil Vol. 1 #301-311, Annual #8, Nomad (1992) #4-6, Punisher War Journal (1988) #45-47, material from Marvel Holiday Special #2 This was the longest graphic novel I've ever read collecting 34 individual issues from the Brian Michael Bendis run of the Marvel Knights era of Daredevil. Usually, I can go into specifics about individual issues but I've read so many here that that would be quite a challenge. So I will instead be reviewing the individual arcs and treating the story as a whole.

Then going against Pyromania and Bexane, a Latverian guy and what he does to him was brutal and how the Avengers saved him was lovely to see and I love the growing friendship between Hank Pym and Matt! Then going mad storyline starts where Foggy and Kirsten doubt him and a new deadly enemy Coyote comes in and its epic the way its written and its scary and dangerous and like one of the best stories ever! Collects Bizarre Adventures (1981) #28, Elektra: Assassin (1986) #1-8, Elektra Lives Again (1990) OGN, and What If? (1977) #35. 2016 Reprint. Also available in a later printed hardcover, Daredevil: Echo – Vision Quest. Recollected in Marvel Knights By Joe Quesada Omnibus (2018 oversize hardcover)oversize hardcover, ISBN 978-0785126768 / 2016 oversize hardcover, ISBN 978-0785195382 / 2024 oversize hardcover, ISBN 978-1302957650 / digital TBA) Civil War II: See Guide to Marvel Universe Events – Civil War II. This occurs between #9-10 for Matt. He figures prominently into Civil War II (2016) #3 and The Accused (2016) #1, which are concurrent to each other. While the Dark Phoenix saga is all there in the existing Uncanny X-Men omnibus editions, it’s admittedly good marketing to call out the saga as an individual collection for newer readers.

Written by Charles Soule and anchored by Daredevil and Misty Knight, this four-issue series could have easily been an arc of Daredevil between #605-606. Collects Hunt for Wolverine (2018) #1 and Hunt for Wolverine: Weapon Lost (2018) #1-4. Also, see Guide to Wolverine – Logan. During #36: Alias #14-15 (these issues explain who Jessica Jones becomes Daredevil’s co-bodyguard with Luke Cage) During #38: Daredevil: The Target (a single issue of an aborted Daredevil series by Kevin Smith) A hodge-podge of Frank Miller Daredevil stuff from after he'd left the comic the first time. First up is a couple of Spectacular Spider-Man issues that Daredevil shows up in and Miller drew. Then comes his short return to Daredevil. There's a one off return with a silent Matt Murdoch getting revenge in a small NJ town. Then the acclaimed . This omni starts off with a 2 part story with spiderman in which spiderman becomes blind, so daredevil helps out. This was a nice story (although not written by frank miller) and was quite fun (3.5/5) After #168: Amazing Spider-Man #218. After #172: Marvel Team-Up #107, Marvel Two-in-One #78. After #173: Amazing Spider-Man #219, Marvel Team-Up Annual 4, ROM #23, Moon Knight #13. After #178: Power Man & Iron Fist #77. After #180: Marvel Graphic Novel 1. After #181: Defenders #103-104, Marvel Fanfare #1, Fantastic Four #242-243, Defenders #106-107.

Daredevil vs. Vapora #1 (1993) Free health-and-safety comic sponsored by Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association& Consumer Product Safety Commission. For the past few years, Lee had created an indelible series of flawed, human heroes whose powers doubled as afflictions. The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, The X-Men – these characters were compelled to be heroes by the curse of their abilities, and they were all as interesting out of costume as in.
