At the end of the day, the type of training you do will influence how good these feel on your feet. On the other hand, if you perform weightlifting or Crossfit from time to time, the lighter construction of the Powerlift 4 will better eliminate the drag you might experience with heavier shows during cleans, dynamic, snatches, thruster, etc. Support Straps and Laces

There’s a rubber outsole, which helps give it the stability and durability you’ll need in a weightlifting shoe. To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of the sizing in the Adidas Adipower 3’s overall sizing, and I have a neutral-width foot with a slightly narrow bias. I wish the toe box in this model were wider because it does feel limiting for full toe splay, and they can be a little snug during longer training sessions. My feelings about the performance of the Adidas Adipower 3 are favorable, but with a couple of caveats. Second, when it comes to convenience, having a heel-loop coupled with a tougher upper can be a true blessing. This small structure saves you a lot of hassle that usually accompanies putting on such shoes. Upper Construction The effective heel height of the Adidas AdiPower’sis .75 inches or 20.1millimeters, which makes this model similar to other popular lifters. All applicable customs and import duties and any other charges are the responsibility of the customer. Regarding similarities, both models feature an upper midfoot strap composed of velcro, canvas, and a metal loop. Additionally, both shoes feature upper constructions built with a minimum of 50% recycled content. Whether you’re a competitive or recreational lifter, your lifting shoe should be durable enough to last for several months or years. A unique feature of the Power Perfect III’s is the “derby” construction that provides lateral stability and gives the shoe a snug fit. The strap bears a full fabric construction free of any leather reinforcements. It’s a hook-and-loop mechanism where the strap runs through a steel loop.

The Power Perfect’s are true to size for me, but I should point out the fact that they aren’t available in women’s sizes. I only do the high bar squat and front squat and while I work on mobility daily, it still doesn’t really hold up that well, and I’m looking for a 0.75 inch heel shoe. The Adipower 2 features a TPU midsole, which excels in terms of rigidity. This material is hands-down the gold standard of weightlifting shoes because it doesn’t compress under the heaviest weights. Comfort is a highly relative matter; what I feel comfortable wearing might be incredibly painful for you, and the other way around. The third and final thing to like about the Adidas Adipower 3 is its outsole construction. The Adipower 3 features a low-profile rubber tread with a slightly more aggressive lug patterning covering the forefoot and heel. One of my favorite features of these shoes is the finger loop above the heel. This makes it very easy to put the shoes on, and it’s surprisingly rare among other shoes in this class. Lifting Performance I do wish the toe box in the Adipower 3 was a bit more flexible. I think the narrowness of the shoe and how far the midsole comes up into the forefoot can feel a little limiting at times. It almost feels like I can’t flex my forefoot fully when working to be explosive in this model. Testing the Adidas Adipower 3 for Recreational Lifting
