Axxess grounded to the radio harness. After I could not get the steering wheel controls to work I found in the troubleshooting section it specifically says to be sure the unit is grounded to the chassis.

I inadvertently dislodged the magnetic valve solenoid electrical connector. This had the rather unpleasant effect of putting the transmission into limp mode if you leave it in park or neutral with the engine running for too long. I love it when I install a new head unit and in the process break the transmission. The bass does not have its own slider. It needs to be changed directly from the EQ which makes it difficult for "normal" people. Firstly, audio quality is a priority when it comes to the sound system in your car. You want something that will deliver clear, crisp audio with negligible distortion. The USB wire attached cannot be removed from the head unit. This will make the installation quite a pain in some cases. In my car I needed to take the whole front plate off and push the wires out.
