There IS THE WORDS SONY where it should say Nikon on the label, but Sony are a good manufacturer, and perhaps actually make Nikon batteries? While it is more expensive than some replacement brands, these OEM batteries from Nikon keep their charge longer than the other replacement brands and fit my camera much better.

I have tested their batteries across multiple camera brands and i have never had any issues with any of them. The two "NP-FW50" batteries that are 3/4 charged also fit in a Sony A-6400 camera and work reliably without any problems. The battery arrived in original Nikon packaging stating "cell made on Japan, pack assembled in China".
