It was funny at first, but probably those who tweet their grumbles about being served chips in a wheelbarrow or steak on a slate are a wee bit passive-aggressive. Landlord plays guitar and the piped music is eclectic to say the least (it is played quietly though). In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi.

The interior design is quirky and charming, with vinyl records adorning the walls and a toasty warm fire to keep patrons comfortable during the colder months. The inn was their livelihood but village business was ever Beat's business too, and now some dark cloud had descended on them all. There is a metal bar running above the main seating area which wold be ideal for decorative tiny lights, adding atmosphere without weight. It was brought out in about 4 different stages and I had 3 roast potatoes which was seem to have been made from Coteswold brick but just not as pretty. Her complaint (such as it is) is that it's been placed on top of the wilted greens, which makes it hard to eat.

The Inn on the Marsh is a charming and cozy accommodation located in the picturesque town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The interior is, on closer inspection, a bit too "curated" to have the authenticity its outside suggests. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Outside their courtyard and walled garden are the perfect spots from which to enjoy al fresco drinking. A 1 Star Rating is only used to let us know Stopovers no longer accepted and we can update the listing. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. At the tavern, hard-headed Beatrice and her sister Dot cared for their invalid father and for Lucinda, their pretty orphaned niece. Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station is a popular area in Moreton-in-Marsh and there are many inns closeby. Decor could use a bit of an update but do not judge a book by it‘s cover, this is a nice and friendly little pub.

The publican was a friendly old rocker who played some good vinyls while we ate our meal in the dining room. Checkout the opening hours first and bear in mind that if you reserve ahead, you won't have to wait in line. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. Convivial locals who gathered us into their groups and welcomed us with beers and dogs :) Also, walked to Batsford Arboretum and enjoyed exploring there.Meal was eatable but nothing special, and the bar itself was furnished with old chairs etc and looked as if it needed a good clean. A converted barn area behind, stuffed with various wickerwork knick-knacks and an old dresser with various objects d’art. The Bell is a friendly 200-year-old coaching inn located north of the Cotswolds and 15 miles (24 km) from Stratford-upon-Avon. Every site that offers a Motorhome Stopover Deserves a five Star Rating for offering this to us (Advise if Totally Free, Purchase Required or Small Cost). If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting updates on the pub.
