Charlie is so indecisive! She plays around all the time like she knows that she is engaged but if she is having feelings for Lex, then she could have opened up about it with Julian so that he doesn't get broken just like how she was 9 years ago. If she has experienced that trauma so much so that she was admitted to the psych ward, then why the hell does she do the same to Julian?? I know that it was for the plot but there are so many ways this story could be re-written without all the cheating that happened. She literally sleeps with both the guys, kisses both of them, and says "I want you" to both all while being engaged to one. If she needs time to decide, she could have taken it without cheating or indulging sexually with the other one and then lied about it when asked. She also does the same mistake when she was 18 and she plays around with her best friend's brother! She could have been with him if he was single and if everyone was in the know about the relationship including the families of the involved parties! This promotes cheating! Charlie literally engages in a relationship with her best friend's brother which would have been okay but he is married!?? IT IS NOT OKAY! GIRL COME ON YOU ARE BLOODY 18 FREAKING YEARS OLD AND YOU DEFINITELY KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE SIDE GIRL SO DON'T CHEAT! I mean if they're in love, then at least be honest about your love and open up the facts with people instead of continuing the shit game. See if Lex and Samantha were in an unhappy marriage, then they should have at least been honest with each other as to they are cheating with each other by indulging in extramarital affairs. Like duh, what's the point of even staying in that relationship if you are getting nothing out of it; to a point where they can't even tell each other that they both don't love each other anymore? That is not an excuse for Lex to cheat on his wife with his sister's best friend and its not an excuse for Charlie either for messing around with a married man (EVEN IF THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!)

The leads conveyed their characters well. I can see their anguish, joy, regret and love toward each other. Secrets are revealed and love and trust is gained in this moving 2nd chance romance. When you think you know where the story is heading, another twist is thrown in. It was fun catching up with Billie and Sawyer. Their kids are great fun and a light relief to the heavy subjects covered. I also liked seeing again a possible connection between Hammer and the brother’s sister Lorna and wonder if thats a duet in the works?I learned that adult is just a number. Maturity does not come with age but with experience. Experience is the best teacher. All the buildings can be upgraded. The zombie mobile can also be upgraded, giving you additional workers with each upgrade. The story starts at an awkward point in time, where the MMC has already established that he has a crush on the FMC, which is usually a thought process that I like reading about. We hear a lot about past instances where the MMC has interacted with the FMC or with his friends and told them about the FMC and I feel like it would've been beneficial to the storyline to add those in.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of James and Tricia's story and look forward to reading CHASING LOVE: TRICIA to see if they can attain their HEA. Ok, so I was fully invested into this book up until now, but whoa the drama, piss poor decisions, and overall WTF starts to happen. Let’s just say that Charlotte had me screaming. Two men want her…honestly I think it is because she is a shameless slut! But that aside…she carries on with life with her fiancée as if she is so happy all while banging the hell out of Lex any place, any location, any way! I have been eagerly waiting for the next Chasing Love story, after reading and loving the previous book about Sawyer, James's brother's story.H cheats on his wife with h (almost sleeps with his wife while having an affair with the h, but h catches him and stops). This is like a sub-point of the previous point. If they are really not in love and are physically involved with other people, they why did Samantha lie about the baby being Lex's when she ended up with the baby's dad anyway? Like there's nothing she gets out of it apart from hate and unhappiness. Honestly, that was the worst possible move ever because she could have easily just been honest and directly started a new life with whoever the baby's dad is! What is the point-like seriously was it just to add to the plot? To me, it's more like a plot hole. Chasing Love: James is the third book in the Wild Romance Saga, (40+ couples, later years, inspirational, redemption, enemies to lovers romance ). We learn that Trica has had to deal with a lot of heartache in her life that she has never told anyone about and it helps you understand why she is like she is. And do not get me started on Lex *fans face* I shit you not this guy sounds over the top HOT, these two together are like like panty wetting rabbits on speed!!

With the cheating aspect of this story I don't think alot of people will jump on this and read it (that is just my honest opinion) I don't condone cheating in any shape or form in life but reading about it bring it!! Warped I know shoot me!! lol What she had with James was mutual extraordinary chemistry, why was that dismissed over and over again? This is turn earned my undying love and support for James, which was further cemented as we got to know him, his damaged heart and self-reproach all carefully hidden by a mask full of confidence trotted out for public show.

At least these two cheating pigs end up with each other. They were apart ten years. Their love isn't that strong (insert eyeroll) So I start by stating that I, like many other readers, have some big pet peeves that make or break a book for me. 1.) I despise love triangles, they never end well. 2.) Cheating is just wrong, period. 3.) Female leads that make me want to pull my hair out. CHEERS, this book has all 3 of my big no-no’s.

On a more personal level, I'm also not a fan of 3rd person dual POV writing, I feel like dual POV works best in the 1st person. Then she literally goes and marries the other dude while engaged to Julian and still pursuing shit with him. I laughed at the similarities between the brothers because they can’t see it, but to me they are two loving, caring and passionate men. It was nice seeing James come out of his brother’s shadow. I hope girls (and guys) who watch dramas like this do not think that this kind of relationship is ok, because it's not. Also the bullying is bad. The friendships depicted in this drama are completely mercenary, people will only like or do things based on what they will be able to gain from the female lead. This instalment of the story has been about love, trust, fear, heartache and forgiveness. The sexual chemistry between James and Tricia is off the charts and I loved witnessing their relationship as the story progressed. I was rooting for them to be together. I could see just how perfect a couple they would make. Their attraction to each other is undeniable and anyone else simply cannot compete.Tricia Mattison wasn’t an easy woman to walk away from. And with the number of women I had walked away from during my formative playboy years, I knew she wasn’t the kind of woman I should let go of either. Sparks flew whenever we crossed paths. But for some reason, she didn’t want me, and I was forced to walk away. My last thing that I will hate on, is the ending. It was the worst, most confusing cliff-hanger I have ever seen. Nothing would ever make me want to continue the series, so the cliff-hanger was just dumb and unnecessary. Tricia’s life has not been an easy one but she covers her baggage well until she breaks down and tells Janes all her deep kept secrets. What he didn't expect was to be shot down and dismissed after their intimacy. He left, a broken man. Then wham. Shutout. And my heart, like James’ own, dropped like a stone. All of a sudden, I wasn’t so sure if I liked Tricia, bearing in mind that I wasn’t yet invested in her character because I hadn’t read the first duet and got to know her.
