Incandescent Lighting Enerdrive ePOWER DC2DC+ Battery Charger: A fully automatic multistage, multi input battery charger that can operate from an alternator linked to a battery or solar panels.

Enerdrive ePOWER True Sine Wave Inverter with AC Transfer & Safety Switch: This professional level inverter uses the latest power conversion technology to deliver clean and energy efficient true sine wave AC power from your DC supply. Little maintenance costs: The best quality of LED lights compared to traditional lights, can last up to ten or twenty times longer. Off-Grid Canopy Power Kit: Designed for people who like to travel off-road for long periods of time, this setup provides a canopy power board with DC2DC charger, battery charger and pre-wired plug and play outlets for both solar and inverters. It also includes an Enerdrive ePower 1000w True Sine Wave Inverter, Enerdrive ePower B-TEC 125Ah lithium battery and 2 x 100w Enerdrive solar panels. Run the power lead through the vehicle to the dimmer switch, or if you are using two dimmers, to a point mid-way between them where you can then attach a DC splitter cable. If you need to customise the cable length, follow the directions we outlined in the previous section. Enerdrive ePRO Plus Battery Monitor with Active Shunt Module: This highly advanced gadget can monitor up to three battery banks and has a very simple plug and play operation.

Not a Midland modeller? They are only the pattern, think of Midland as 'boundary' fence because of the height. Our Enerdrive canopy & caravan electrical products include everything you need to run your solar panels and power your appliances and batteries on the road. These include battery monitors, solar charge controllers, sine wave inverters and battery chargers.

To connect your lights to power, you’ll generally modify and use the cigarette lead that is supplied with all our tri-colour camp light bars, kits and tapes. Dunn & Watson offer two different types of solar panels: fixed or slide out panels. The fixed panels are made by Enerdrive and the slide out panels are put together at our own factory in Australia.

Different types of Canopy Hood Lights

Compared to incandescent bulbs, fluorescent bulbs have a longer lifecycle of not less than 35 times longer than that of incandescent bulbs. Though initially, they may cost a little more, fluorescent lamps will not only save you time but also money by minimizing the multiple times your bulb needs to be changed. With fluorescent lighting, your kitchen will be cool, unlike with incandescent lighting, which can filter some light into the area surrounding the bulbs making the kitchen environment uncomfortable and expensive to cool. Fluorescent canopy hood lights can give your staff comfort and also reduce your monthly bills. Enerdrive ePower B-TEC Lithium Battery: Available in 12V 100Ah, 125Ah and 200Ah models, it’s designed to be used in deep cycle applications where a single battery is required with the right amps. It includes a smartphone monitoring system and an internal battery monitoring system. Depending on the size and complexity of your setup, you may choose to use either one dimmer switch to control all the lights, or one per side controlling half the lights each. If you’re looking to light up a ute touring canopy, you’ll generally want one 48cm or 100cm light bar mounted inside each of the doors, and one or two 25cm or 48cm lights inside the canopy itself. For a 4wd cargo area, generally two 48cm bars or one 100cm bar will be sufficient. The cable coming from the dimmer switch is terminated with a male 4-pin plug, so when mounting the lights ensure you orient the first light bar (the one closest to the dimmer) with the female plug pointing towards the dimmer.

Canopy Power Boards: These boards feature a DC2DC charger, battery charger and pre-wired plug and play outlets for solar and inverters. They also have a holding tray for your phone while it’s charging. These boards are a more basic model than the model above but are very popular with off-road campers. Dimmers can be flush-mounted or surface-mounted according to your application. Mount them close to the door for easy access, but ensure they are kept protected from the weather. Placing & Mounting the Dimmers & Lights To add on to the LED technology, here are some good reasons why you should choose LED over the traditional lightings. Bulb durability: Durable LED light bulbs, does save you not only money but also the replacement time.Canopy Control Panel with Enerdrive DC2DC+ Charger: This is a Dunn & Watson canopy control panel that’s powered by Enerdrive. It comes pre-wired and features an Enerdrive ePower DC2DC+ 40 A charger. This setup provides two independent DC inputs for both engine and solar regulation, automatic set and forget charger, dedicated maximum power point solar regulator and a multistage charging process. Vehicle input allows for either 12 or 24V and a maximum solar input of 45V/800W. A fully programmable LCD display shows which source is charging the battery, as well as the battery status, voltage and amperage. It even includes a temperature sensor for more accurate battery charging. Before you start cutting and drilling, take some time to plan your setup. You will need to consider things like: LED bulbs can not only reduce the energy use by almost a half but also, they can last much longer compared to incandescent bulbs. Studies show that LED bulbs can reduce energy consumption with a higher percentage, and also, they are known to have a long life. Next, they produce less heat which is of great importance to a busy commercial kitchen; for starters, you will save dramatically on power charges. Unlike CFL bulbs, LEDs have no disposal issue— CFL contains mercury which is not easy to dispose. If you decide to go the LEDs way for your hood lighting, make sure that the LED bulbs are listed with UL. Last but not least, LED bulbs are striking bright and such kind of brightness will help in maintaining a safe environment in a busy kitchen. Remember, added visibility is added safety.
