This design was produced for the Spring 2009 semester of the Pacific Academic Conference. As a result, it was slightly salty but thoroughly delicious. It will most likely take 3-4 cups to cook the recipe. More ginger was used for me (about 1 1/2 inches). Similarly, I believe a smaller amount of honey would be preferable because the taste would be more similar. A note about the sugar: there's a fair bit of sugar in this recipe, but without it, the flavors aren't quite balanced and the sauce doesn't caramelize as well on broiled and barbecued foods. First, what is Yoshida sauce? It’s similar to Teriyaki, but a bit sweeter. You can easily replace it with teriyaki and some honey.

Yoshida’s Gourmet Sauce: There are two types of Yoshida’s Sauce; teriyaki and original. I used the original but either one will work great for this recipe!
