Description

Once a phone is paired it will auto connect when the SoundSync is powered on. That means, provided you leave Bluetooth switched on in your phone, all you need to do to start streaming when you get in the car is switch the SoundSync on and open your favourite music app. Sound quality is very impressive. Music sounds as crisp and defined as it would if connected to the aux directly by a high-quality cable, so the limiting factor isn’t the SoundSync but the audio system in your car. You can also use the SoundSync at home with any stereo or speaker that supports an aux input. The Soundsync is a dongle in the best sense. While it’s technically here just to fix the pain of felled ports, it does so in the least painful way possible — with the power of Bluetooth.

The SoundSync also supports handsfree calling, with the call playing through the car speakers. There is a built-in microphone, but call quality isn’t particularly impressive. Still, it’s acceptable and means you can legally take calls without risking six penalty points.

Once the device is plugged in, all you need to do is power the Soundsync on, find the option under Bluetooth devices on your phone or Bluetooth-compatible device, and boom. You’re in Bluetooth business now, baby. Needless to say, I was impressed with both the receiving and transmitting capabilities of the Soundsync A3341. While I don’t own any equipment that provide digital inputs and outputs, I can only assume that this device would produce similar results for digital technology as well. If someone is looking for a way to extend the life of existing audio technology and incorporate it with today’s Bluetooth connectivity, look no further than the Anker AK-A3341011 Soundsync A3341 Bluetooth 2-In-1 Transmitter and Receiver. This versatile device clearly bridges the gap between older and newer technologies.

Listening to 200 Mac DeMarco songs feels a lot easier when you don’t have to hard-wire speakers to a computer. Video by James PeroThe SoundSync is extremely easy to use. Once it receives power via the USB connector it can be switched on, after which pairing is very straightforward. A long press on the power button enables pairing and then you can select the device from the phone’s Bluetooth menu. If you’re like me and living in a world with passable speakers but no convenience, do yourself a favor and bring Bluetooth into the fold with the Soundsync.
