Description

Both games were released for the Wii U Virtual Console in Europe on February 11, 2016, in Australia on February 12, 2016, in Japan on March 23, 2016, and in the United States on June 23, 2016. The Virtual Console was discontinued on March 27, 2023. A remake of the games, titled Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, was released for the Nintendo Switch on March 6, 2020. Red Rescue Team was the last Pokémon game released on the Game Boy Advance, and the last Pokémon game to be released on a Game Boy system. Gold/Silver Pokémon GS Edition - A variant of the Pikachu and Pichu edition GBC. It appears gold or silver depending on the angle and lighting.

During a gaming exhibition called Game On, early concept art of Capsule Monsters by Ken Sugimori was featured, along with pre-release material from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. The concept art depicts rough versions of various concepts that made it into the final releases of the Generation I games. They seem to include various battles, the Safari Zone, Red riding on a Lapras, a Blastoise, Celadon City, Silph Co., and a town with a fountain which could have been reworked into Celadon City. Some other Pokémon are identifiable in a raw or semi-normal form, such as Gastly, and others are prototypical of an entire class of Pokémon, such as a basic Dragon-type. Pikachu Edition - A yellow GBA SP released exclusively in Japanese Pokémon Centers, then later released exclusively in Toys 'R' Us stores in the US. The front of the system depicts Pikachu's face. Upon reaching the top of the Great Canyon, Xatu reveals that the player must first go to the three fields and face the Lords of those areas (the Legendary beasts).Venusaur Edition - A green GBA SP released in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of LeafGreen Version. It depicts a silhouette of Venusaur on the inside and on the outside. Pokémon Daisuki Club I Love Chimchar! Edition - Same as the other Daisuki Club editions, except depicting Chimchar.

Trades between Pokémon games in different languages are possible; however, a Japanese game cannot connect with a non-Japanese game without causing corruption. This is due to the fact that the games cannot automatically translate the Pokémon data from Japanese to a different language or vice versa, since neither game fully encodes both kana and the Latin alphabet (only encoding one fully and the other partially). If a battle between a Japanese game and a non-Japanese game is attempted, the battle simply does not work, with the save files left unharmed. Celebi Edition - A green GBA released only in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of Celebi: The Voice of the Forest. It depicts two silhouettes of Celebi next to the GBA logo. An error made during development causes the Pokémon depicted during Professor Oak's introductory lecture to be a Nidorino but with the cry of a Nidorina. This error was inherited from the Japanese Red, Green, and Blue games. The ominous red-eyed or shadowy Pokémon are the members of Team Meanies and Team A.C.T., split between the two box arts. With six Badges in hand, and five HMs in the bag, finally the player can adventure onto the open sea of Routes 19 and 20. A short way across them, of course, is a minor obstacle: the Seafoam Islands. After they have been navigated through, the player can continue on Route 20 to Cinnabar Island, home of Blaine's Fire-type Gym. There are also several more facilities on the island, including one that actually revives Pokémon Fossils. After Blaine's defeat, only the final Gym, that of Viridian City, remains. Pokémaniac Nintendo 64 - This special Pokémon edition of the console was released in Australia and Europe only. Included was a yellow/blue controller with the Pokémon logo and the PAL version of Pokémon - I Choose You!. When the player first discovers that they are a Pokémon, they will first meet their partner who happens to be there. The journey begins with the player going out to find a lost Caterpie. Once this first quest is done, the journey begins in earnest. Southern Cavern, Wyvern Hill, and Howling Forest open up after receiving specific Friend Areas from jobs. The wireless communications function can be used to communicate with Pokémon Trozei! along with other copies of Blue Rescue Team. Prize coins are awarded to the copy of Trozei! while an item is awarded to the copy of Blue Rescue Team. [8] [9] [10] Reception

I would recommend that every player who wants to play online uses a protection tool, and Blue Sentinel offers the greatest coverage against both well-known and obscure exploits. Pokémon Center GS Edition - A silver colored GBC released in Japan to tie in with the Release of Gold and Silver. It was sold in Japanese Pokémon Centers only and features the Generation II starters and Pikachu on the front. [2] These are the first Pokémon games outside the core series to get a remake, in the form of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. This tool aims to identify cheaters and mitigate the impact they have on your online play, through a few different methods: Using Poké Transporter, the entirety of Box 1 can be sent from the Generation I core series games to Pokémon Bank (regardless of language), from where they can be withdrawn in the Generation VII core series games.

The player reaches Mt. Freeze and meets the Ninetales of the legend. The player discovers that while part of the legend is true, and the selfish human from the legend is alive, it is not the player. Not all glitches are detected, only the ones that seem more damaging to the online play. This is a balance between: How easy are they to perform; How popular are they amongst the community; What are their impacts on normal PvP? So far, Blue Sentinel should be able to accurately detect:

Latios and Latias Edition - A blue and red GBA released only in Japanese Pokémon Centers to tie in with the release of Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias. It features silhouettes of Latios and Latias next to the GBA logo. You can put any sound files you'd like in the "Resources" folder, and link them to the ini from therePokémon White Edition - A white DSi that has an image of Reshiram and Zekrom on the front. It was bundled with White Version.
