Scan the QR code shown on the watch and enter your watch's phone number. Make sure that you enter the number of the SIM-card that is inside the watch. If you don’t remember the number, go to the My Planssection on Xplora Connect platform. Once you have created a user account, the app will prompt you to add a watch. Press "Add device", then "Scan code". Give the app permission to access your camera. Install the app on your smartphone and follow the instructions on your screen to verify the number of your smartphone and create a user account. Important: When creating an administrator, do not write your phone number with a space or zero beforehand.

Despite being a guardian, I see this message: Your request has been sent to the guardian. It's waiting for consent The person can scan the QR code from the watch. The QR code is to be found in the Settings menu of the watch. Make sure your watch is fully charged. If the watch previously ran out of power, it might take up to 15 minutes of charging before the watch can be switched on. Press and hold for approx. 20 seconds to switch the device off. The SOS alarm will be triggered when switching off the device this way. Alternatively you can switch off the device through the app or through the device's settings menu without triggering the SOS alarm.

You will find the charging port of your XPLORA GO on the left side of the device. Both have almost the same rights, with the only difference being that only the primary administrator can factory reset the watch from his/her app. The XGO3 still has the rugged, sporty construction of the XGO2 – with the same sensible engineering approach and build quality, accounting for the rough and tumble of a child's daily life – only again, with a more refined all-round look and feel. The Xplora proprietary charger, which connects magnetically to the watch, is still a bit of a drag, as it's not like any other charger you'll have available at home, so you'll have to keep a close eye on this accessory. At least with the improved battery life (850mAh, up from the XGO2's 700mAh) the watch will stay active with the wearer for longer. A full charge should get them through a couple of days, if not more.
