Description

The first is brand. Looking at the brand of the product is often a really good indicator for judging product quality. For example you’d expect a much higher quality product from a brand known for providing excellent quality than you would from an unknown or even a budget brand. Why rest in peace when you could play in stitches? This game will have you laughing so hard that you’ll be coffin and spluttering, and you’ll be dying for another round. So, if your passed game nights were just dead weight, its time to lift your spirits! Get your Stupid Deaths game today! It’s tomb much fun… The brand of product you buy can vary in importance, from person to person. Some people will of course be much more particular about the brands they will use. Whilst others aren’t interested in the brand and are more interested in the overall quality or price of the product itself. Thankfully Stupid Deaths is a brand that many customers have grown to love over the years and is very popular for items in the Board games category. In this hilarious game, each player tries to identify if each stupid death is true or false in an attempt to beat the Grim Reaper around the board. Any wrong move, and he gets a step closer to making you the loser of the game! Avoiding the touch of death is key in making it to the safety of the red space! This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items.

Some of the cards detail real life deaths, whereas others are made up. After the reader has read out the card, other players must guess if the death is true or false. Players who guessed correctly move one space forward and players who did not stay put. If all players guess incorrectly, the reader gets to move forward instead.

The object of the game is simple, players must outrun the Grim Reaper. A player can win by being the first to reach the finish line or by being the last remaining player in the game.

This is a collaborative review post from Sam, co-founder of Dafuq Is Dis. She is a big fan of party board games and agreed to review Stupid Deaths with her family. Stupid Deaths is a brilliantly dark family board game. The concept of Stupid Deaths is dead simple. The cards feature a bunch (a gaggle… a murder?) of deaths and you have to decide whether they’re real or made up – true or false. If you guess right, you advance around the board… but there’s the matter of the Grim Reaper chasing you as you go! If you want to win, you have to outrun the Reaper (or, at least, aim for a dead heat). Can you (pall)bear(er) the pressure? Of corpse you can! The next step was to try and narrow down our search even more. So we’ve already looked the prices of products in the Board games category. Then we’ve also looked at the prices of products from Stupid Deaths. So this step combines the two and looks specifically at the price you’d expect to pay for Stupid Deaths branded products in the Board games category. Each player chooses a Player Pawn and places it on the GREEN space at the bottom of the Game Board. Players place the Grim Reaper on the RED space at the top of the Game Board. If the brand you buy is important to you, our best advice is to spend some time writing up your own list of ideal brands. That way when you come to the point where you’re comparing product options you can filter to only show the products from brands in your list.If the Grim Reaper lands on the same space or passes a pawn, the player has officially experienced the touch of death! If the player still has a Extra Life Token available, they may use it at this point to save themselves. If an Extra Life Token is used, it is then discarded and is unable to be used again for the remainder of the game. Extra Life Token: When the Grim Reaper lands on or passes a player's space, the player can use his/her Extra Life Token. The player moves his/her Player Pawn one space ahead of the Grim Reaper on the Game Board and discards the Extra Life Token. How this game works is that players have to judge on whether a stupid death is real. One player chooses a Stupid Death card and reads it out. Other players have to decide if it’s likely that it was a stupid death or not. They use their coffin cards to select True or False. It’s then announced if it was a real stupid death.

While the adults that played this game did enjoy it I would say the age rating of 12 is about right. The content isn’t particularly adult but obviously, the theme is death which younger children may struggle with. There is also a lot of reading involved as well so anybody playing does need to be confident in reading aloud.Remember: Players only have one Extra Life Token per game. The next time the Grim Reaper catches a player, that player is dead and out of the game. In the tombstone shaped box, you will find a board game, 300 stupid death cards, 6 playing pieces, a Grim Reaper, 12 true or false voting cards, 6 extra life tokens and the instructions. After the reader is finished, all other players decide if it's a True (and real) Stupid Death or a False (made up) Stupid Death by placing one of their Voting Cards face down in front of them.
