This is because Yamaha has built an audio interface into this port. This offers a couple of huge benefits: For example, when you depress the sustain pedal, the earliest played notes continue to sound while you’re adding new ones and the piano needs more memory to keep all the notes sounding. The REALLY cool connectivity feature about the Yamaha P-125 that doesn’t get near the attention it deserves is that the USB to device port (used to transmit MIDI data to and from a device on most pianos) also transmits AUDIO data in both directions! After numerous revamps over the years (P-125 was P-115 and P255’s successor is the P515), the company is always trying to come up with new design ideas to be competitive with the time and other brands. And this is clearly obvious with their results With the Smart Pianist app, you can get possibly the most convenient and streamlined digital piano experience out there.

Overall, the Yamaha P125 is a great portable digital piano for its price range. Yamaha stayed within its lane, did what it does best, and added some new and improved features over the predecessors in this lineup. But the lower notes? Boy, I tried to record it, but the lower notes don’t really provide a rich bass sound. You would need to exert more effort to make it sound richer. This is a personal experience here. I am not a formally trained pianist, and I played with synthesizers for more than 15 years. So it’s possible that my finger technique is the problem. Just an honest take. However, there are three functions added to the P-255 which makes it slightly better than the P-125: Key-off sampling, sustain sampling, and string resonance. Without going much into detail, these three help create piano sounds almost similar to real acoustic ones. While the P-125 came a bit later than the P-255 as the successor to the P-115, Yamaha did not really make a whole lot of changes to it in this regard. While both are equipped with the same hammer action and touch sensitivity, the actual keys on the latter is of higher quality, furnishing it with the same feel as more expensive models.Again, ensuring you get the best possible sound in all scenarios, the Yamaha P-125 applies its stereophonic optimiser, creating a special balance when using your headphones for a beautiful, expansive listening experience. More Than Just Piano

Now let’s talk about the second most important aspect of any digital piano – sound. There are several changes that Yamaha has made in this department since the previous model. The whole piano weighs only around 26 lbs and is 52 inches wide, 11.6 inches deep, and around 6.5 inches tall, which is a pretty flexible size, and you can easily place it on a table or a desk. Just by glancing at the table provided above, anyone can see that there are very few differences between the two Yamaha portable models – especially where it matters. The physical footprint of the P-125a is not a lot larger than the keyboard itself, with a slim control panel running the full width of the instrument and housing speakers situated at each end. The surprising dimension is the height - presumably to accommodate the 2-way speaker system and the weighted keyboard mechanism, the chassis is pretty tall, giving the instrument a height, when placed on a flat surface, of 16.6cm. Since this is a portable piano, Yamaha have done an excellent job of keeping the overall weight down to a manageable 11.8kg. There are plenty of recesses on the underside to get your fingers into, making it easy to lug the unit around, but it’s only capable of running on mains power - no batteries here. There are 4 levels of touch sensitivity (actually there are 3 levels and an option to disable touch sensitivity); this means that the harder you strike a key the louder it is, and you have 3 levels of that to choose from. So, if you are accustomed to playing a piano with a “heavy” feel, you can adjust the Yamaha P-125 to mimic that a bit closer.

The Wurlitzer sound has a baked-in fast tremolo that you can’t remove, and the string sounds all suffer from the common Yamaha peculiarity of not sustaining indefinitely with the damper pedal held down, but the four acoustic piano voices (Grand Piano, Live Grand, Ballad Grand and Bright Grand) really shine and secondary players like the harpsichord, vibraphone and clavinet sounds are perfectly serviceable. Yamaha has used their significant history as a piano maker in providing piano sample for the P125, including the use of the legendary Yamaha CFIII 9′ concert grand, here faithfully reproduced, along with all it’s inherent nuances and dynamic expressiveness.

FAQs

Such location doesn’t allow the sound to freely flow from the down-facing speakers, so Table EQ adjusts the frequency distribution to get the best possible sound quality.

I do not recommend the P-125A anywhere near as much as the P-125 because Yamaha removed the audio interface from the USB to host port – this removes significant functionality (streaming audio both in and out of the piano) This would be a perfect choice for on the go musicians or those who want to be able to easily collapse a stand and put it away when not in use. Generally, this medicine is well-tolerated by the children. However, temporary side effects such as indigestion, nausea, and vomiting may occur in some children. Consult your doctor in case these episodes become bothersome for your child. Dual Mode can be used to layer two different instrument sounds to create a rich atmospheric sound for your performance so that whenever you press a key, you’ll hear two sounds playing together.P 125 Tablet DT is a widely prescribed medicine that helps to ease pain and bring down high body temperature (fever). In children, it treats conditions like headache, toothache, body ache, fever, and common cold.
