Description

The Exo Terra Glass Terrarium is the ideal reptile or amphibian housing designed by European herpetologists. There are many varieties of polka dot plant, with leaves in shades of pink, purple, red, or white and green. We make it easy for you to get your first pet reptile, to grow in the hobby, and to become an enthusiast. The full screen top ventilation permits the UVB rays from the compact fluorescent lighting system to penetrate deep into the terrarium.

In response, we have added new labels like the one shown below to many of our product packages and catalog descriptions. Burro's tail forms an impressive string of succulent leaves, reminiscent of a donkey's tail (hence its name). Use spike moss as an accent plant or groundcover to finish off your display, and keep the compost moist but not waterlogged. We know that for a prosumer reptile and amphibian keeper, space to maintain our animals is critical. Bear in mind that polka dot plant needs bright but indirect light, so may grow towards light and ruin your display if it's too dark where you've positioned your terrarium. It needs constant moisture so can be difficult to care for in a standard home environment, but is easy to care for in a closed terrarium. Ludisia discolor thrives in moist compost, high humidity and medium to low light – if your terrarium is close to a window then consider this jewel orchid for the understory of your display so it won't be exposed to too bright conditions, which can cause the leaves to fade to a light pink-red. They are easy to care for and thrive in very low light, making them perfect for a beginner terrarium.

There's a wide variety of arrowhead vines to choose from, with leaves in different colours and shapes.

Nerve plant is easy to care for, compact and slow growing, and thrives in a humid environment with low light levels. This offers convenient access for the feeding and maintenance of lamps, control equipment and accessories, as well as for installation. What's more, they come in a huge variety of shapes and colours and make a great focal point for a terrarium display.

However, due to occasional changes made by vendors after date of publication, the physical appearance of items may change or vary in color from what is shown in the catalog. may include, but are not limited to, chemicals, microbiological specimens, or activity kits containing these materials.

By combining the right products, Exo Terra® makes it possible to cater to almost any species from almost any specialized habitat. African violets thrive in free-draining compost, bright but indirect light and high humidity, making them an excellent choice for a closed terrarium. Haworthias make excellent plants for an open terrarium as they are slow growing and require very little watering. With the Local Habitat, you receive an information booklet about the animals and species that live in your area.
