Is this worsening expected? I thought an antibiotic and niacinamide wouldn't cause any initial "purge" or whatever. Zinc Oxide helps to calm and soothe whilst reducing the appearance of active blemishes, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) helps to prevent congestion whilst balancing your natural sebum levels, and Allantoin helps to prevent skin irritation and future breakouts.

As the name of The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% suggests, this solution is formulated with the weaker vitamin C derivative, ascorbyl glucoside, at a dosage of 12%. Although it’s not as effective as l-ascorbic acid, it does have its benefits. It’s much more stable than l-ascorbic acid which means you don’t have to worry as much about it going rancid. It’s also more easily tolerated because your skin must convert it to l-ascorbic acid before it can use it. That means that if you have sensitive skin or haven’t been able to tolerate l-ascorbic acids in the past, this could be the solution for you! You’ll take additional reassurance knowing that just like the other The Ordinary products we’ve discussed, this solution is alcohol-, oil-, and fragrance-free, as well as vegan and cruelty-free. I uploaded pics and from that they recommend based on the severity of my acne stil (after using tret for 6 months) that I change from **0.1% tretinoin to 0.1% Tret, with Clindamycin and Niacinamide mixed in to help inflammation and acne.

Beauty battling breakouts? Meet your next overnight skincare remedy with the Overnight Blemish Lotion. Shake well before use. Apply to a few drops to clean, dry skin. Use morning and evening for best results. As always, here we are! At the end of the day, would I recommend the 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc serum by Revolution Skincare? I would, but under determinate circumstances. Helps treat wrinkles:Preliminary research shows it canboost the production of skin-firming collagen. And well, that's more or less all there is to this particular comparison. One point we would like to underline regarding both serums, though, is that Zinc PCA regulates oil production. So if you have oily/combination skin, then great! However, normal-to-dry skin types may find these serums too drying.

Hi I use 0.1% tretinoin to treat my acne. I get it from a service called "Dermatica" in UK which is an online dermatologist. They formulate the treatments themselves.Delivery is on a selected date, you can choose a delivery day of your choice, up to 10 days in advance (Excluding next day delivery. Postcode restrictions apply) Though both brands do offer other types of skincare products, let's be honest, we're all here for the serums. It's how DECIEM's The Ordinary made such a name for themselves over the years, and subsequently how Revolution has nabbed some of the spotlight. So let's dive straight in!

Discontinue if irritation occurs. Keep out of eyes. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with water. Not recommended for use with topical prescriptions or sensitive skin. For external use only. This product claims to be a pore refining serum that helps reduce the look of blemishes (and pores). Also, the formulations is perfect for oily, congested and, obviously, blemish-prone skin. Since there are a couple of claims about this serum, I am going to break them down while describing my experience. Perfect for blemish-prone skin.Despite it not being my cup of tea when it comes to treating already-existing blemishes, I definitely saw that it helped controlling my breakouts while I was on my period. I usually get a lot of pimples in this period, but this product was a great help! Hi, I'm Gio! I’m a tell-it-like-it-is skin coach and author on a mission to help you achieve your best skin day ever - every day.So to summarise, it balances moisture and oiliness, reduces redness, evens skin tone and can help minimise the appearance of blemishes and pores. Can you see why it’s a favourite?
