The Infinite Quest is a 13-part animated serial, the first 12 parts of which were originally shown on Totally Doctor Who. Although the serial is not a part of series 3, it features the Doctor and Martha Jones. It was run as a complete 45-minute episode after the series came to an end. It was released on DVD in Region 2 on 12 November 2007, Region 4 on 5 June 2008 and Region 1 on 18 November 2008.

Doctor Who, the show is just unabashedly enjoyable when taken on its own silly merits. Interestingly, the Autons of the first serial might be Only available as part of the Revisitations 2 box set in Regions 2 and 4. Only available individually in Region 1. Starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor. All Fourteenth Doctor episodes will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in 2023.

That being said, The Web Planet fell a bit short. If that had been the second ever serial of Doctor Who instead of The Dead Planet, I think it’s fair to say the Beeb might not have let them go beyond 13 episodes. An additional promotional DVD was released in DWM 544 on 17 October 2019 as part of the magazine's 40th anniversary, though it is not part of the official 'The Collection' boxset run.
