I strongly recommend this to ALL parents. While I'm fortunate to have a child who loves nature as much as I do, I think this book could get even the couch potatoes outside and having fun.

At times it was quite sad but also beautiful and eye-opening. This book was really good!!!! For me, it was a real departure from the two KH books I’ve already read (The Nightingale and The Great Alone) and I’m sure that’s because it’s one of her older books. Still, it had some hallmarks of these; sisters, scenic location, THE FEELS.
