I have a cannon pixma TS5320 – i’ve read every compatible paper weight but i am still confused on the weight limit the rear tray can handle. Thank you for getting in touch, with regards to Card Printing. I recommend the Canon PIXMA Pro 10s as it has a 10 ink Pigment-based system for top colour accuracy and support of a wide range of media types. I am looking for an inkjet or laser printer that can print on 50gsm. bank paper. It seems, most of laser printers are rated to 64gsm. The only inkjet I found that can handle 60gsm. is HP Printwide series. Is there any printer that can handle 45-50gsm. paper? If you are looking for a laser printer, then the OKI series of machines starting with the C332DN – https://www.printerbase.co.uk/oki-c332dn-a4-colour-led-laser-printer.html? – would be suitable as it can handle up to 220gsm from the multipurpose tray and has a straight feed path. If the paper you are using is not heavily textured then this is a good option. At the moment we are a really small business, we don’t have a large budget, and we don’t have a lot of space. We do however want a reasonably good quality print, and are willing to invest the minimum required to get that. What would you recommend as the ‘sweet spot’ printer?

Looking at your requirements the Canon PIXMA IX6850 would fit your needs. It prints up to A3 but supports up to 300gsm media. It is also under your budget.

A4 (210x297mm) PRO-DESIGN® 200gsm

Could you please help us to get Samsung printer which has the capability of printing below specified certificate I currently use a canon inkjet, it actually prints up to 350gsm and is a really good printer, however I wanted a laser printer to be able to do DIY foil printing with a laminator – this method isn’t going to work now I have the above answer! Our top recommended card printer at the moment is the Canon Pro-300: https://www.printerbase.co.uk/canon-imageprograf-pro-300-photo-inkjet-printer.html

The best options that we have are the Xerox 7800 and OKI C911, both of which can print on 350gsm card. Even though a higher GSM fabric offers higher durability, but when it comes to T-shirts these heavy fabrics are not wearable and preferable during summer weather. T-shirts chosen by us have a GSM strength of 180….GSM: Fabric Quality Metric. Clothing Wear This is the midway point between paper and card. It can be used for brochure covers and is great when used for more luxurious posters or quality double sided flyers. Please can you tell me which affordable home Inkjet printer would be suitable for printing on card 250gsm. Preferably with a feeding tray at the rear. I am currently using a basic HP and Canon but the printers don’t like the card and often jam. When it comes to printing book covers, these usually require large, specialised machines. For infrequent use I’d recommend an Epson EcoTank Et-8550, it has a low running cost and high GSM support of 800. However, for longer print runs this could cause issues with the book covers. First off, wow thank you for answering everyone’s questions!!! you have no idea how helpful you are.

We accept all of the major credit and debit cards. Your transactions and personal data will be held in a PCIDSS accredited system using secure encryption technologies. I was thinking about a Canon Pixma Pro 100S (i don’t know what the difference is with a 10S) or an Epson Ecotank EP 7700. Do you have any recommendations? Promotional discounts cannot be used on Office Papers unless stated otherwise. Due to the competitive prices of our Office Papers we are unable to include these in promotional offers or our Trade Discount. If you are looking to buy a large quantity of Office Paper we can offer pallets here. There are lots of various standards for GSM paper. The weight determines what the paper is used for, and is often called the paper’s “grammage.” At Banana Print, we can help you determine the right weight and size of paper that will perfectly suit your needs.

As most of the people, I am interested in printing on at least 220gsm (which is the weight of the paper I’m currently using) and I need a laser printer to apply foil with a laminator afterwards. Notebook paper is generally between 80-90gsm (grams per square metre) making it adequate for taking notes or for creating booklets etc. Higher quality writing paper is generally 90gsm and above. I am looking for advice on a colour laser printer that will be able to handle a full range of media from 40gsm to 250gsm and that it has a bypass tray? This table of paper sizes breaks down this system from A0, the largest, to A10, the smallest. Here are a few of the most recognizable standard sizes: The current recommendation we could give for foiling would be the Samsung M3320ND model, which can handle a maximum of 220gsm via the bypass feeder – https://www.printerbase.co.uk/samsung-m3320nd-a4-mono-laser-printer.html

GSM isn’t the only way to measure the weight of paper. There are a few other systems that use different standards and measurements, which are used in different parts of the world: 1. Caliper Hi. Can you please recommend a printer for Printing book covers. It should be colour. Able to print A3 and cost efficient. For that weight and type of paper, the only models really suitable would be the professional photo range of devices found here. These have the best media handling capabilities and can take media up to 350gsm. As they are suitable for art prints, they are able to print onto canvas and other similar media like cotton rag.

Usually the weightsof a good business card. Some will use 300gsm, or less, for a business card but we do not recommend it. 350gsm can also be used as a cover for your book but it’s important to remember the stitching and folding implications of using heavy board as a cover. Yes, we have a number of printers which will print on to 350gsm paper in 12cm x 12cm size. However it depends if you want the printer to be Inkjet or Laser, we have a suitable inkjet printer which is a Canon Pixma 100s – https://www.printerbase.co.uk/canon-pixma-pro-100s-a3-colour-inkjet-printer.html. What I’d like to be able to do is bulk buy printed leaflets (with my details and pricing info etc.) from an online printer such as vistaprint. This would cut down on the costs and my effort in generating these. However, I’d like to leave a space on these leaflets where the QR codes and login details can be printed by myself as and when they are needed for different events.
