Furthermore, Final eartips are very nicely designed, providing a high level of sound isolation, so ambient noise with A4000 or A3000 was never a problem. Aging refers to the phenomenon whereby the sound produced by the earphones changes over time as they are used. There is a small driver unit – what could be called a speaker – inside the earphones; a diaphragm of extremely thin film is attached to this using a coil and an adhesive agent. With aural signals, the diaphragm moves in micronic increments while the coil moves, giving off sound. While it can’t be proven, we believe that in this situation, the adhesive section may possibly influence these infinitesimal movements. Using the product over a set period of time, the diaphragm moves more easily, and sound quality approaches the original design intent. This product has a small aperture, and so an extended period of time is necessary for changes through aging to become indecipherable. In general, if the product is used in a normal way over a period of 150 ~ 200 hours, it should feel that sound has become more subtle. A more favorable outcome can be obtained through aging of the product by listening to the music you normally listen to at a volume you usually listen at, rather than expediting aging through very high volumes or aging through noise. While not an accurate metaphor, when you make unnecessary movements to break in a pair of shoes, you’re bound to cause wrinkles different to those that occur when you walk normally. In the same way, rather than having the diaphragm move unnecessarily, it is better to think that it is more natural to break it in in the environment in which it is used. This product is an earphone that is hung over the ear. The transmission of touch noise to the ear can be prevented by placing the cable on the ear to achieve a comfortable fit. The A4000 take a more fluid approach to the high end than they do a shimmery gloss. They take more advantage of the 16k range than the 8k range, which helps them avoid a metallic character. They’re perhaps more middle of the road on brightness; I’ve heard headphones twice as dark and twice as bright. But most will find them to be on the brighter side, with a full, smooth sound far from any shrillness. I listened to the serene guitar ballad “Journey” by Sipprell and her vocals flowed beautifully on the A4000s high response. They have a pleasantly pure, gentle presence. Almost clinical and perfect in their sound reproduction at the cost of losing some musicality and sounding sterile at times

While I do enjoy both the A3000 and A4000, my preferences definitely favour the latter quite a bit more. But don’t let my opinion and the price difference hinder you from trying both. They’re different enough that owning both would provide different experiences. The notch is there to ensure you connect the cable with the right polarity, particularly as it doesn't have pre-formed earhooks. With IEMs, I always do the usual burn-in of about 50 hours; it’s not that without this the IEMs do not sound right, but rather that the burn-in helps them to reach their full potential. Now, much more important than the technical burn-in, I consider the so-called phycological burn-in, which helps the listener to get acquainted with the IEM; in that sense, the phycological burn-in does not actually have a limit, and the more you listen the better you get to know the IEM.Highs: The SE215 has quite the energetic treble presentation, but due to the overwhelming bass, the treble is not as prominent. It’s fun, but a bit exhausting. Meanwhile, the A4000 has a bit of a bias on its treble presentation. It is not very obvious, but it does make it the cleaner IEM of the two. Detail and resolution aren’t hindered by an overwhelming bass presence. The A4000 is the more technical of the two, so for those who are into technical IEMs but with some added enjoyment, the A4000 is your cup of tea. For non music usage such as for gaming, movies anime, The A4000 works really well for gaming and movies /w Atmos/TV(Netflix) when I used Dolby atmos headphones. It also made my anime sound wonderful with the OST anime have, it sound great this was of course with atmos disabled. The exterior box of A4000 and A3000 is nicely minimal and inside it the user will find, besides the IEM and cable: This has a brighter sound in its mids as it does in the highs. They have a natural-resonant tone, definitely driving a lot of presence but staying relatively at bay in the 500Hz-2kHz range. The 1kHz+ range has a bit more bite to it, enough to create a satisfying edge that’s still devoid of harshness. These definitely have warmer low-mids than they do high-mids as is not uncommon, but still retain enough silkiness in the high-mids to create an overall smooth, comfortable tone and give up front, realistic sound. Pros: Top clarity and depth in an extremely natural and effortless way; lows, mids and highs in an absolutely perfect balance; unrivalled transparency; maximal speed; extremely broad dynamic range; huge soundstage; beautiful holographic image; top class universal performer; beautiful and extremely well made in every sense of the way; great fit.

Sounds like sitting in the sweet spot of a pair of small bookshelf monitors but no holographic sound or imaging like the a4000. In short, this iem cooks the A4000 in almost every way I see, with my library. Timbre was way more accurate on the A4000. The stage, although not as deep, but way wider and more holographic. Bass is noticeably thumpier with better texture, although A4000’s bass have faster transient. Female vocal sounds more lively and correct compare to A4000. Instruments like hihats and cymbal strike sounds straight up better than the A4000 due to better sustain and decay, which also means I observe more micro details on the Oxygen. For the price, some of the detail here is absolutely breathtaking. It presents a crisp and airy presentation with articulate transparency and a dash of warmth. Certain elements like strings and acoustic guitars appear polished and clean, while vocals exude the best qualities of the entire timbre. Every vocal I listened to felt like it always sat in the right place, floating well above the rest of the sounds with an almost extreme level of clarity.

The cable is awesome, although I see people online complaning because of it's flimsiness. Coming from multi braided, rubberized cables that are way too heavy and common in cheap & expensive IEMs, I find it a breeze of fresh air. It's light. It doesn't tangle. It doesnt catch on any fabric, doesn't twist on itself. It's perfection. However I agree that it's not the most confidence inducing piece of kit ever, being plain plastic and quite thin. Driveability: I know I need to use the 4.4 port on my dongle immediately. The A4000 does shine with more power. STEP2 Run the cable toward the front from behind the ear, and insert the earpiece of the earphone into the ear. To increase the magnetic efficiency and reduce loss, the gap between the magnet and the voice coil is being reduced to a level that has not been done before, as this is generally expensive and risky in terms of manufacturing. After the Sub-Bass region, we get into the region known as the Bass or Mid-Bass. This region consists of
