I'm not the biggest fan of Sauvage, but this smells much smoother, sweeter, more depth/complete version of Sauvage. But there's something about it that also has a masculinity and maturity to it that the other hyped designers don't have for me. But as soon as the top notes faded (for me, on this winter day, after a couple of minutes) an overwelming ambroxan dominated gulf of synthetic mainstream scent took over.
