Like most of the band’s previous releases, the album topped record charts in many countries, including both the US and the UK. He omitted Don’t Let Me Down (the B-side of the Get Back single) and instead included a 1968 take of Across the Universe.

FYI, here is a handy list of the markings from each of the Capitol pressing plants: It was Sam Feldman who also scribbled the words “Phil + Ronnie” on the dead wax. It was released on 8 May 1970 by the band’s Apple Records label shortly after the group announced their break-up.On 09/09/09 (Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine) the album was re-released as part of the Beatles "In Stereo Remasters" collection.

The Super Deluxe collections also feature 27 previously unreleased session recordings, a four-track ‘Let It B’e EP, and the never before released 14-track ‘Get Back’ stereo LP mix compiled by engineer Glyn Johns in May 1969. This version sounds awesome, I’ve compared to multiple records, and I thought this one sounded best. However, the critical response was generally unfavourable, and Let It Be came to be regarded as one of the most controversial rock albums in history. Hi karin_templin, you could check the releases The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be , The Beatles - Let It Be, The Beatles - Let It Be. The filmed rehearsals were marked by ill feeling, leading to George Harrison’s temporary departure from the group. The Beatles iconic final studio album being released to coincide with the worldwide release of Peter Jackson’s 3 part documentary ‘The Beatles: Get Back’.

It was initially released as a box set, with a 168-page book titled "Get Back", containing stills and dialogue from the film. The British pressing is a real collector's item for every record collector who collects all the rock records from the 60s to 90s!

I believe it is a legit pressing as everything I have found online to identify true pressings notes it as such, BUT it is missing the "Phil + Ronnie" etching. Get Back was ultimately assembled under the title of Let It Be by the American producer Phil Spector in early 1970. My album has on side 1- Phil+Ronnie, JS-17,500-15, with 3 small dots under the 15 and a large one next to it, a 2 on it’s back, the bell sound stamp, sf stamp, and an *. When I started to look into it some more I discovered that what I had in my collection was actually a fake.

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition, great stereo sound, occasional background noise in places but still sounds great. On side 2- the 2 is upright and is between Phil+Ronnie and the other numbers, and has a marking that looks like [_], with every thing else the same. The tray is again thin card but white backed the perferations for the machine fold show with all the white edges showing. I have had in the collection for some time now a record that I thought was an original US pressing of the Beatles Let It Be.
