Riley also wasn’t doing it for me. Her burying her head in the sand and ruining Aidan's career with zero attempts to rectify anything just wasn’t cool. I know the rationale used but I’m sure there was something she could have done. I mean even reaching out and explaining why she couldn’t go public would have been a start. Oaths and Omissions” is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Sav R. Miller. She is a true storyteller, and Oaths and Omissions is her best book. It’s an epic tale of family, secrets, loss, marriage, betrayal, friendships, laughter, and regrets. Oaths and Omissions is a heartfelt novel written with compassion and hope, reconciling the past to pave a road to happiness and second chances. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. They made reader love them, they made reader sad, they made reader angry, they made reader laugh, they made reader cry, and they made reader believe in the promise of love and home. Lenny Primrose is a character that has been hinted at throughout the series, her family and its history appearing in the first book briefly. She is the stereotypical golden child, who is put as the face of the family to profit off. However she is different from this, she has a darker side to her nature that should have been explored further. This sadistic side of her personality was swept over briefly when it should have been one of the main vocal points that brought her and Jonas together. Thank you for joining project epicpdf.com one more step for saving everlasting masterpieces of great minds of all nations and times. Probably my favourite couple in the series ever! I love Jonas and Lenny but then the execution of this book doesn't give them justice.

Since we met up that day in Boston a few weeks ago, we’ve had a dozen lunch dates; despite my initial apprehension regarding making friends, as that skill wasn’t one I grew up utilizing much, Elena and I sort of hit it off immediately. She’s warm and inviting, but there’s also this alluring darkness to her. An edge I’ve not seen in many people, especially any my age, that I find somehow comforting. Like I can embrace the broken, ugly parts of me in her presence, and all she’ll do is show me hers in return.” Aiden has officially been added to the harem - he was dark, brooding and OBSESSED, which is something I’m coming to learn I love in romance. Seriously, the man gives new meaning to the phrase tortured artist, and I was all about it. I really enjoyed getting the little pieces of precious chargers from the series. The plot kept me hooked the entire time (clearly- I chose it over a night of sleep). The slow burn romance / tension was divine and when it hit? IT HIT HOT!In 2018, Sav put her lifelong love of reading and writing to use and graduated with a B.A. in Creative Writing and a minor in Cultural Anthropology. Nowadays, she spends her time giving morally gray characters their happily-ever-afters.

I could have seen less of Kal & Elena lmao I don't like them and Elena was as annoying in this book as she was in hers. I seriously cannot stand her. This book has me EMOTIONAL, okay? I spent the first 25% of the book grinning like a fool, the next 50% nervous and just completely absorbed in the tension between Riley and Aiden, and the last 25% crying. I’ve felt all of the emotions and I’m drained. Someone bring me chocolate. I could NOT put this book down!!! I didn’t expect to love it even more than the first book, which is one of my favorite types of retellings. This was so heavy on the feels, the obsession, the anger, the hurt, the lust. Holy! I liked seeing Kal and Elena again. Elena definitely played a bigger role than the second one. Elena and Lenny’s friendship was sweet. I liked the Riley cameo.Btw this is a Tom aka Lenny’s dad hate account and don’t even get me started on Preston, I could’ve guessed I was gonna hate him based off his preppy ass name 🙄) Lenny wants to get out from under her fathers thumb, Jonas wants to destroy Lenny’s father for his part in his own fathers death. Enter: fake relationship to piss everyone off. Except, it doesn’t end up being so fake, does it?

Uuuggh, while I loved this, I really really wanted more from Jonas and Lenny. I really loved the two of them together, and separately. Jonas is perfectly cold and murderous, and Lenny is fierce and feisty. fluff until the 46% mark. i mean genuinely nothing dark nothing happening. those 46% were all set in ONE day. imagine reading 16 chapters of them spending their "one night stand" i was bored out of my mind bc there wasn't any smut either. I also wouldn't call this a DARK romance. The little stalking could be considered dark-ish, but the rest felt like a typical spicy contemporary novel. I didn't mind, but it's good to know for setting your expectations straight. she’s in high school (she’s 18 but personally that doesn’t make it better for me) and he’s 22 so immediate dnfThough the end of the book was a little boring, I liked how crazy Aiden was. This guy was crazy about his cum indeed. He ✨ cums in her lotion✨ when he was stalking her so he can leave something to make her all anxious about someone being in her house. There was so much family drama, it just kept going. I grew bored and uninterested. It felt like there was stalling from the main plot. My ears heat, irritation simmering in my bloodstream. I’ve been on edge ever since Elena showed up at the beach house and questioned the sanctity of my relationship with Lenny.”

Oaths and Omissions Quotes by Sav R. Miller - Goodreads

Book Genre: Adult, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Dark, Fantasy, Fiction, Mythology, New Adult, Retellings, Romance lettura intrigante. Un mistero fitto e ingarbugliato che riguarda il passato dei protagonisti, di quando erano dei ragazzini, permea per l’intero romanzo e spinge il lettore a porsi delle domande e a cercare di svelare i segreti. I did like Jonas and Lenny, I wanted more scenes together- I feel like some of the family drama took that romantic buildup away.Though I didn’t see the plot twist at first, but because I accidentally read a spoiler, saurrrrr it feels kinda meh + the epilogue was mediocre but other than that? I actually devoured. The ending, eh. The epilogue was fine. But the last chapter. I don’t know, I needed more. I don’t wanna give away too much. But it could of have a bigger blow. We briefly met Riley in Promises and Pomegranates and also heard about Aiden too so the characters weren't 'new' new but my god was this both a hard and refreshing read.
