In der Nase dunkel und tief. Am Grund liegt dunkles Holz mit Karamell-Toffee Bonbons obendrauf. Als Topping gibt's Kakao und herbe Gewürze, sehr mehrdimensional. The exceptional characteristics of these new spirits represent the evolution of Ron Barceló Imperial, a brand that has won the world’s most important awards for its outstanding quality. Barceló export import, s.r.l., Viriato Fiallo No. 16, Ensanche Julieta, Santo Domingo, República dominicana, Dominikánská republika Always committed to being one of the important references on the road to the premiumisation of the rum category, Ron Barceló now unveils its newest series of Rare Blends Collection rums, which stand out for their ageing in barrels from different latitudes that lead the consumer to explore the world in every sip.

On the nose, you’ll find notes of roasted coffee, milk chocolate, and dried apricots. The palate is full-bodied with distinct notes of cherries, cinnamon, raisins, caramelized apples, candied oranges, and sweet strawberries. This wonderful medley of delightful flavors is topped off with a long, simple finish of toffee. 5. Brugal XV Rum This one-of-a-kind rum, tailored for the most discerning palates, has aromas of figs and wild fruit jams that blend perfectly with the strong notes of butterscotch, dried cherries and smoked wood.

On the palate very mild and soft, discreet caramel in chocolate coating, cream toffee vanilla cream, candied tropical fruits lie in a toasted wooden bowl.Could have a little more body, maybe it's the low vol.%? The distillery is still overseen by fourth and fifth-generation members of the family who strive to maintain and honor the memory of their beloved founder. Výraznější dochuť by z něj udělala supernovu... Twelve years ago, when I first reviewed Barcelo Imperial I noted problems with the synthetic cork which came apart when I opened my bottle. I did not experience any problems this time. I bumped the score up accordingly.

This rum is particularly smooth. It seems to slide down the throat easily and yet that is not to imply that it is at all bland or tasteless or overly syruppy. It's just smooth. I've no idea why that is, but it is. Other rums produced include Barceló Premium Blend 30 Aniv., Platinum, Gran Añejo, Añejo, Dorado, Blanco and Barceló Cream. These superlative distillates are the result of blending the exclusive reserves of Barceló Imperial Rum, which have been aged for more than a decade under the meticulous attention of master rum maker Eduardo Galíndez.

The third of these limited bottlings is Barceló Imperial Mizunara Cask, which is a result of aging the reserves of the brand’s most prized rums in oak barrels with different degrees of toast, carefully selected by Galíndez. The distillery was founded in the 1800s meaning they have generations of knowledge and expertise to utilize and grow from. They originally founded the distillery in Cuba but relocated to the Dominican Republic out of necessity in 1959. Rich aromas of mocha, melted toffee, lush baking spices, and dried sour cherries and honeyed raisins. Not a rum for beginners or for all palates. Very dry, smokey, leathery. I am sure it would be a great rum with a cigar, but I am not a smoker. It stands out for its exuberant purplish amber colour, which denotes its finishing in barrels that formerly contained Port, giving it a great harmony and a structured and characteristic profile. This cookie is set by Rubicon Project to control synchronization of user identification and exchange of user data between various ad services. Once the blend is achieved, Mizunara Cask is aged in virgin Japanese oak barrels to provide the complexity and unique flavour that distinguishes this exuberant rum. Barceló Imperial Mizunara Cask was born to fascinate the most demanding palates. According to Galíndez, Barceló Imperial Porto Cask is the first of these rums to be made available, with a light, silky and slightly sweet style.
