Glendalough gin is made with a base of Irish grain spirit and distilled using a copper pot still. The botanicals are carefully selected to create a unique flavor profile that reflects the natural beauty of Glendalough. Whiskey is representative of traditional Ireland. There’s a long history of whiskey in Ireland. We’ve had whiskey here for hundreds of years – in fact, Ireland’s oldest continuously operating whiskey, Old Bushmills has been distilling whiskey since 1608. There are a few typically Irish whiskies – Old Bushmills, Jameson, Tullamore, Teeling, Redbreast, and you’ll find them in most traditional Irish pubs. If you buy Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin for it on its own or for what it does well, you’re in for a treat. And then there’s Watermint, which is a weedy, hardy plant with a mint-like character that grows in damp marshes all across Europe. It has a strong mint flavor, somewhat close to peppermint. Which by the way, did you know that peppermint is a hybrid of watermint and spearmint? Me neither. I guess we both learned something. However, all of these gins are sure to please your palate. What mixer is best with pink gin? I paired Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin with Fever Tree’s Mediterranean Tonic in a Gin and Tonic, and I found that it was so bright and herbal already it didn’t need the botanicals from the tonic water. I’d even go so far as suggesting you pair Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin with a classic tonic water to let the gin’s character shine. No matter what type of pink gin you choose, you’re sure to enjoy its refreshing, fruity flavour. Which gin is best in India?

Now that we have what we think are the best Irish gins out of the way, it’s time to see what else is on offer. This unique gin is made using milk from Irish dairy farmers in County Cork. Instead of the usual neutral alcohol base made from grain, Bertha’s Revenge Irish Milk Gin starts its life as a spirit made from whey, a byproduct that is often discarded during cheese production. Barefoot Contessa’ Host Ina Garten Reveals She’s Never Had a Martini Before — So Stanley Tucci Makes Her One Finally, make sure to give the gin plenty of time to chill before serving. It’s best served cold, so be sure to pop it in the fridge for a few hours before serving. How do you drink rose gin? Because the only requirement for liquor to be called gin is the inclusion of a certain quantity of juniper berries, this leaves the distiller a lot of creativity. Gin is a sort of blank canvas – once the mashing is done and the juniper is added, the distiller can play around with their recipe.
