Description

The Bumping Dance in the UK version has the Teletubbies giggling at the beginning, while for the rest of the dance, they are silent. But in the US version, they giggle throughout the whole dance. Somehow Norwegian is the only Scandinavian language that released this home video and it was never released in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland by Egmont Film and Nordisk Film. The rare original window Windmill clip was shown when the Teletubbies were about to eat Tubby Toast before they watched Playing in the Rain at the TV Receiver sequence. It might be ironic how a rare Windmill clip be shown in a VHS volume, making it not so rare. The US version of the Ned's Bicycle TV event includes narration not featured in the actual episode.

In the UK version, before the Beach TV event, the Magic Windmill spins with the stop spinning tune as the Tubby Toast Accident segment originally had Tubby Bye-Bye afterwards. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star also appeared in the US version of Swimming with Stephanie but with a different narration and voice trumpet voice. This VHS features the Rabbits' song, which is used as a transition into Laa-Laa's Bouncy Ball (the same version from Paddling Pool). The Australian release has the dual BBC Warning Screen instead of the one from the other Roadshow videos. There is also no Roadshow Entertainment Logo or ABC Video logo. This video marks the first appearance of The Happy Dance, it later made its first television appearance in the 1998 episode, Looking for Rabbits. This is the first video to be released in 1998 and to have the 1997 to 2021 BBC logo and the BBC video ident from 1997 to 2009. The 2003 re-release uses a different opening shot for the Four Happy Teletubbies segment that features the different title "Meet the Teletubbies." In the Ukrainian version, the Ned's Bicycle video is replaced with Ukrainian children cleaning up trash with a vacuum. On the Norwegian DVD Menu, the 2005-2006 Barnas Favoritter Star Icon is present but the DVD was released in 2004 one year before the Star icon was commonly used, and due to it being released in 2004, it will be redirected to the 2004 Barnas Favoritter Menu. In the opening scene of the Magic Tree event, the shots of the Teletubbies arriving silently at the Magic Event area in Teletubbyland and the Magic Windmill spinning are swapped around more than normal.

Before The Three Ships event, the Magic Windmill spins with the TV Event tune, as the episode originally had the Tubby Bye-Bye afterwards. For some reason, in the US version, the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star segment and The Gingerbread Boy switched places with The Grand Old Duke of York segments.

In the US version the bird's eye Windmill animation sequence is seen before the beach TV receiver sequence. The Laa-Laa's Bouncy Ball segment, Songs in Tinky Winky's Bag, and the first Where's Po's Scooter segments also appeared in the US versions of Bubbles, Dancing Sevillanas (Spain), and Rollerblading respectively. But they all had different recordings of the narrator's lines than the ones used in the video. Before The Magic Tree event, the Magic Windmill spins with the TV Event tune, as the episode originally had the rest of the Teletubbies play the Hey Diddle Diddle segment's ending and then Tubby Bye-Bye afterwards. Like Dance with the Teletubbies, Simon Shelton only played Tinky Winky in one segment. That segment is The Happy Dance. During the credits of the Lithuanian version, Tamzin Griffin was credited with a featured appearance. Though she did not appear at all in this video, she did appear in Big Hug!
