Qualcomm CSR8645 is a powerful Bluetooth chip. Excellent connection stability, support AptX lossless audio transmission technology, supports AAC-LC advanced audio coding technology, supports EDR Bluetooth enhanced rate. Support CVC 4 noise reduction technology, etc. It is the representative of Bluetooth wireless connection technology on the market. I would like to say that KZ finally nailed it with the ES4. Alas, that would not be true. The KZ ES4 is still plagued by a superficial tuning job that does not unchain the true potential of the drivers. This is not to say that it sounds bad, though, as I enjoyed listening to it and I still think this may well be one of the best earphones made by KZ – I consider it way better than the ZS10 in terms of tuning.

KZ ES4 is the latest in firm’s growing line-up of hybrid

The KZ ES4 is the newer updated version of the KZ ES3 , inheriting some of their main technical specifications like: dual driver, plastic housings, detachable cables.KZ ZS4: the ZS4 are much more heavily V-shaped, with bass and treble that are much more prominent than mids. Those appear heavily recessed and a bit distant. Bass is almost overbearing, leaking over the mids, while treble is not really detailed despite its large presence. The ZSN are much more balanced, and they have better technical ability, too. Though it is not a radical difference, the ZSN offer slightly wider soundstage, better imaging and better instrument separation. They’re also faster, which leads to percussion instruments being more lively. Front-facing lights are designed with a 1.5w high-brightness LED light to illuminate the path ahead of you and to increase your visibility to others around you. KZ ZS10: the ZS10 are much more detailed than the ES4 in every part of the spectrum, also featuring much better instrument separation. Alas they also have a terrible spike in the upper mids/lower highs that makes the sound fatiguing and even piercing at times. The sound signature is also not as balanced and results in an unnatural sound. The ES4 are therefore the better option when it comes to tuning. KZ has always dealt with dynamic drivers, whether it was because they made pure dynamic IEMs or becaude they used them in hybrid configurations. They never opted for balanced armatures only configurations so far, but the KZ AS10 is the first to stray away from the traditions and to do away with dynamic drivers to offer five balanced armatures per earpiece. And, much to my surprise, this is also the first time KZ manages to produce a product with proper tuning.

KZ ES4 Impressions! : r/headphones - Reddit KZ ES4 Impressions! : r/headphones - Reddit

I’ve EQ’d these and the Bass is more powerful and controlled than anything I’ve heard. I have Sennheiser IE 80 and the AS10, after EQ, put those to shame in quantity and quality. Especially quality. Let’s face it: while KZ headphones often offer good value, they have never been great soundwise. Yes, they are good… for the price. After many, many headphones plagued by tuning issues, the KZ AS10 are finally balanced and without the spikes and dips that characterise most of the company’s products. No more aggressive upper mids, no more overpowering mid-bass, no more fatiguing treble. This is finally a KZ product that gets tuning right. The irritating thing is that it is more than probably just a chance, as KZ is notorious for using off-the-shelf drivers without any proper tuning work. Females vocals can get sibilant(yes they can, CardiB went sibilant on Dinero by JLo). They are too sharp, sharper than ZST. But the best part is that you can hear breathe of singers. As it is customary for KZ’s latest earphones, the cable is detachable and uses two 0.75 mm pins – so it is compatible with cables such as the AK Audio 4-core 7N copper cable or the Yinyoo 8-core SPC cable. The company claims that the receptacle can last up to 10,000 plug-unplug actions, which would imply a long life for the earphones. Tries to get into upper bass register and bleed towards mid, but is now in control due to tenmak tips. It is to punchy and is distinct(I don't like that much punch) but is still maintaining a fundamental tone, so I can tolerate. But on slow, classical or orchestral songs this mid bass is very good. It defines the weight of instruments.Knowledge Zenith's, the company which is notorious for making so many models, sometimes confusing, sometimes irritating(ZST and ES3 choice) has a good history of producing gems at lower price. Although the tuning is generally way better than that of previous earphones, it is not devoid of criticism. While there are no strange spikes and dips, there is a bump in the mid-bass area that introduces warmth to the signature. What’s great is that there is no aggressiveness whatsoever, anywhere in the spectrum. In terms of quality, then, there are a few differences: the V80 have deeper bass, but not as much control; midrange is more balanced and frankly enjoyable on the AS10; treble is more spacious and airy on the V80, but it is also much more easy on the ears on the AS10. In terms of soundstage the two are similar, but in terms of instrument separation and imaging the AS10 win by a slight margin. KZ ES4 – In-Ear Fidelity KZ ES4 – In-Ear Fidelity

I am quite surprised by what KZ achieved with these earphones. The KZ AS10 are amazing in their own way: their tuning is balanced and enjoyable, there’s a very good technical level and they’re comfortable. They’re not perfect, though, as there’s still some work the tuning could see – a bit more clarity with a slight emphasis on the upper midrange and more treble extensions would make them even more interesting. Like the ZS10 before it, the AS10 does not offer a high level of passive isolation from external noise, providing just a bit of reduction in volume and not much more. Using foam tips helps reduce noise a bit, but they can’t replace the isolation that the shells do not offer. The KZ ES4 belongs to the newest generation of KZ in-ear monitors and shares some design similarities with the KZ ZS10 , like the transparent housings and the characteristic divider board with the KZ logo which can be found inside the rear section of the housings. Yinyoo Pro: I’ve read many people praising these earphones. I think they belong in the trash bin (sorry if I’m a bit harsh with that). The KZ ES4 are better in every possible way, there’s no contest.ES4 และสายอัพเกรดมาจาก Shopee ตามคำแนะนำของเพื่อน ในราคาแสนถูก พอๆกับหูฟังที่ขายตาม 7-11 เลยทีเดียว KZ ES4: the ES4 are more balanced and neutral when compared to the ZSN. They offer less bass presence and more treble extension, while keeping the mids front and centre. The ES4 tend to be more detailed throughout the spectrum, and they also have slightly better soundstage width, imaging and instrument separation. They are not as god in terms of speed and control, though, nor are they when it comes to bass extension. This and the ED16 are the best KZ mids to date. Whoever at the factory that was supposed to scoop the mids must have had the day off as they are more present in the mix than any other KZ in memory. I still hear the ES4 as a V (and the FR graphs prove that out as the mids are nearly 5db behind the treble and 7-9db behind the bass) but the sound is so well proportioned that it does not listen like a big V but more like a shallow V with a lively presence region. The response to custom equalization of the KZ ES4 was outstanding, bass could be empowered into insane levels of punch and depth; lower vocals got very clear and mid-bass bleed was nearly extinguished; highs became extra bright and open-sounding.
