Grab your popcorn! Tonight, the horror movie “The Werewolf’s Final Night” premieres. Will you get through unharmed? At points in the evening the scenario can become somewhat strained, a little like when the dining guests start running out of conversation. Rather than just turning to a discussion about the caviar, players can choose to use the app. This will allow a hint function for any card. This comes at a cost [in the form of time penalties] but at least this will move the game forward. With the awkwardness and frustration of silence avoided, and the embarrassment of the hosts removed, so the game moves to a new phase.

Mystery at Stargazer’s Manor is the only game that’s ages 10 and up (the others are 13 and up). It’s the least complicated escape room in this series in terms of its puzzles, and it’s not scary at all. So if you have young children this is your escape room. Escape Room: The Game also does the best job in terms of tailoring its editions to a specific audience. They have a special family edition, a 2 player edition and a virtual reality edition. And all of them contain multiple escape rooms so they’re good value for your money. There is a short tutorial game which shows you all the basics so that you can be up and running for the proper game without having to interrupt flow to learn any rules. I was very impressed with this efficiency. We played the tutorial and dove straight into an adventure directly afterwards. It really didn’t feel like a steep learning curve. I didn’t fall as hard for Scheherazade’s Last Tale as I did The Night of the Boogeymen, but I did still enjoy the scenario. From the start I was impressed: there was great music, funny elements, and a new, ingenious means of “traveling” around to various locations. The puzzles were relatively simple and, in spite of a few ambiguous moments, there wasn’t anything too difficult to solve (even if it meant doing so through trial-and-error).It’s been raining for hours and your phone battery is now flat. This day doesn’t look too good unless… Hey! you know a way to kill boredom: you just have to climb up the ladder to the attic where your grandpa’s dusty old arcade machine is stored. The day had started off well. After weeks ofhesitation, you finally accepted the invitationof Archibald Goorse, the eccentric billionaire, archaeological rarities collector. You’d beenflown to his private island, located a few milesfrom the Bahamas, in an old twin-engine.Unfortunately, the aircraft had been caught ina storm and you only just had time to bail outwith a parachute before seeing the plane crashland in the middle of the jungle. After losingconsciousness, you wake up on a windsweptbeach. Fortunately, despite some bruises, you have nothing broken. Instead, your groupis now split in two teams. After a while the clue cards and information pieces are being discarded like the mussel shells in a seafood platter. You have extracted all the goodness from them, and the game tells you to “lose certain cards”. You are now after more tasty tit-bits.

Mysterium: Enter the manor and experience a dark and surreal investigation in which you must resolve the murder with the Ghost's vision cards in a dreamlike and esoteric journey filled with mysteries... Each box contains a series of three formal challenges, a starter, main course and desert, but with a tutorial as an hors d’oeuvres. The game consists of a series of cards, numbered on one side and containing information about the puzzling situation on the reverse. The introduction card is displayed, a little like the maitre d’ presenting the evening’s menu. Within a minute of reading the information you take your seats at the table and start the app. A nice feature of these games is that, although the target to complete each one is sixty minutes, if players take longer than this, then the game continues and without the need to restart the game from the beginning. Players who exceed the sixty-minute mark will receive a lower overall grading at the end of the game. In the second game, “Arsene lupin and the Great White diamond”, players are a group of orphans racing to find a diamond which has been hidden. The treasure hunt has been commissioned by Arsene Lupin and whoever find the diamond first will work with him and would not have to worry about their future. The scenario has a twist as there are some false leads in the game that could cost you precious time. Professor Alcibiades Tempus’ time machine works erratically. You must return the timeline to normal!Like many other escape room board games, this one isn’t reusable if you obey all the commands of the game.
