Gamer Network Limited, Gateway House, 28 The Quadrant, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1DN, United Kingdom, registered under company number 03882481. Similar to Shot in the Dark, Wits & Wagers levels the playing field by asking niche questions with specific answers such as “In inches, how tall is the Oscar statuette?” or “In years and days, for how long did Franklin D. Roosevelt serve as US president?” If you correctly identify the image, the person to your right then reads the question corresponding to the number showing on the die. If he or she gets it right, that player must face one out of three types of questions: true or false, multiple choice, or open-ended. The number on your second die will indicate the type of question you are destined to face. If you get it right you get to keep the card. If you get it wrong, the card is discarded and the next player will draw a new card to replace it.

Brought to by Wiggles 3D, the creators of the Mensa award-winning Eye Know - Trivia for your Eyes board game, the challenging word spelling game app Lexigo Rush and the addictive Quote Slide word puzzle game app and online flash game. The wider range of challenges means Cranium should appeal to a more diverse playgroup than just the trivia experts. The original game skews a little older due to the difficulty of the challenges, but there are family-friendly versions of the game for young ones.

Players must choose how to divide their cards into a set to earn the best score. No card may be used in more than one set. Okay that too! But save that chat for a heart-to-heart with your best friend — we’re here to talk about eyeballs. One distinctive feature of this game is that it combines trivia with identifying images and betting. Another is that players select the topics of their trivia questions. Varuni Sinha is an assistant editor at the Adventure Publishing Group. With an avid interest in visual arts, she enjoys writing and editing for The Licensing Book and The Toy Book, leading trade magazines about toys–the first art forms we encounter as children. When all players have had five turns, they may earn additional chips by cashing in sets formed by the colors of the cards they earned. The questions cover a broad range of topics, from sports to pop culture and history, meaning it should cater to most players. It’s a great game for family gatherings. Point to the image you chose and guess the name of the object or symbol shown on the front of the card. The description at the bottom of the image provides a hint as to what is to be identified.

Now with 1200 questions on 400 image cards and new game play! Choose an image you know from a vast array of people, animals, logos, monuments, inventions, symbols, flags, maps & more! Two ways to play

Paul Berton is the son of Canadian historian Pierre Berton. [1] He was at the time the editor-in-chief of The London Free Press, and is now editor-in-chief of The Hamilton Spectator. George Sinclair is a technical writer. Colourbrain simplifies the trivia format by making every question about colours. Each player holds 11 cards of various hues, and has to place down the correct cards to questions such as “What’s the colour of the lid on a jar of Marmite?” The questions are a mix of general knowledge and pop culture, so kids and adults can play together - there’s even a Disney-themed version of the game. Select an image that you believe you can identify correctly by pointing to the card and making a guess. If you want to make the game easier for younger players, allow them to choose any image from the grid, and if you want to play with older trivia buffs, play the classic version of the game with betting chips (sold separately). Players can bet a certain number of chips before answering each question. The one with the most chips after five rounds will win the game. The board game does a good job recreating the four rounds of the TV show. It can feel a bit clunky to play the first few times as each round is very different, but it should get easier the more you play. There’s even a little trophy for the winner to hold at the end of the game.Arrange 12 cards in a 4x3 grid on the game board. Place extra cards on the "draw pile" space. Hand out five chips to each player. Choose a player to go first. Every question has a numerical answer, and each player or team writes down a guess. These guesses are then arranged on the board from smallest to largest. Now comes the clever part.
